The outer layer of Sunlitec is the special high-performance synthetic fabric similar to Acrylic fabric. It is resistant to sun light UV and many harsh chemicals including salt water. The mid layer is the water resident micro poly fabric foam. It is resistant to temperatures from outside and inside as well as impeding the water from going through and providing breathable performance. The inner layer is the marine grade polyester 300D for protecting the tear and wear from inside and as back support. After the Sunlitec manufacturing process, all three layers stay together as one fabric. It has a solid structure, better performance, looks great and is light weight. We are the only company to produce these boating accessories with Marine Grade Sunlitec Fabric (MGSF). We hope you will enjoy these high quality and affordable accessories. Our Warranty - Fabric structure is covered by a 2-years limited warranty on all items using the Seamax Sunlitec material, and a 1-year limited warranty on sewing lines, tie down strings, zipper line and plastic parts. Physical damage or lack of maintenance damage is not covered under this warranty. Normal wear and tear are not covered under this warranty

This would be a great product if only!! Item fits my 2 person raft but when you place it stretched across the back of the boat there is NO support other than a foam pad. You need to cut a piece of pine board and place it inside the bottom zippered area where the foam pad is, otherwise there is nothing to keep you upright on the seat. I guess the makers think you can sit on whatever you place inside the cargo area under the seat? Otherwise fabric is sturdy. Zippers allow you to remove the cargo portion but you still need something to sit on to hold you up. I used a longer piece of wood to completely go across the rear of the raft and give you support. I placed this board underneath the pad and used the Velcro straps on the underside of the padded seat to keep it secure. Works well but still needs a little more padding which can be easily cut and placed inside the bottom zipper on the underside of the seat. Great product otherwise except for what its main purpose is, to give you a place to sit and keep you upright. I can’t believe they didn’t think of this. They need to add a hard board under the pad inside the seat. If you want to do a little work this will work for your raft seat, if not, this is not the item for you.

Bought this seat for use in our inflatable dinghy that has a metal bench seat. Very comfy for the passenger or, if necessary, the rower! Secures to the bench seat easily, and the pocket holds lots of stuff.
