Despite the massive number of "return to office" mandates, I'm still doing much of my work from home. I like to sit, but I also like to stand at times so that I can get the blood flowing. What to do? An adjustable desk seemed like a better solution than taking an occasion break! This rustic brown desk is an attractive color, true to the product images. Assembly was fairly easy - I used a cordless drill, which saves a lot of time and effort, but it probably isn't required. I've also built quite a bit of Swedish "build it yourself" furniture, so this was pretty straightforward for me.Once assembled, the desk feels pretty sturdy. Definitely strong enough to hold my large monitor and a lot of random desk junk and office supplies. I wouldn't suggest putting a big PC up there, but why would anyone do such a thing? There are some hooks you can attach for hanging up your headphones, which are nice for keeping your desk tidy. Motor seems to work great, and so far it feels like it'll last a long time.Overall, very happy with this adjustable desk. If you're looking for a desk you can move up and down for sitting and standing, or want a desk that's easy to adjust for people of different heights, this is a great choice. Recommend.

I didn't think that an electric standing desk that could be shipped in a fairly small package would be so sturdy! This desk is perfect for my art studio and will hold up under daily use. The hardware is heavy duty and all of the guide holes were precisely and correctly placed. The assembly instructions were fairly clear. Just note that the hardware comes in packages labeled with letters, but those letters do not correspond to the letters in the instructions. Instead, you need to look at the key in the instructions and match up the hardware with the diagram. Or, you can wing it. There are only a few sizes of bolts and screws so its not very hard to figure out what goes where. The instructions do recommend using a drill or an electric screwdriver to set some of the screws, but with the pre-drilled guide holes, I think you could use a plain screwdriver without too much trouble. I was surprised to see that you can install the shelf either on top of or underneath the desk. That's kind of a cool feature. The desktop itself comes in two pieces so you have a seam in your work surface. To me, that's not a big deal, I can always put a cutting mat on the desktop if I need to, but its been fine so far. The desk is made of particle board with a fake wood pattern surface. For a studio, that is actually great since it is easy to clean. I am really impressed by how smooth and quiet the electronics are, and I like the location of the buttons. I have another electric standing desk in my office with a touch pad on the work surface and I am always hitting them buttons by mistake. My cat also loves to make that desk go up and down. She loves the new desk as well, but there is no danger of her pushing the controls when I am not in the room, thankfully. I am also impressed by the range of height for this desk. I am 5' 8" and it gets taller than I would ever need and low enough that I can work comfortably in a regular chair. The hooks under the desk are great for me, and I am using one to keep a dryer handy and I the other to hold the case for my extra monitor. I also really like the cord holder in the back of the desk. It is so nice to be able to unplug my laptop and not have the cord fall on the floor. It is little details like that that really impress me about this desk. If I could change one thing, I would add some USB and AC outlets. With power already coming into the desk for the motor, it seems like that should be possible. However, I knew it did not have outlets when I ordered it and planned accordingly. This is an excellent standing desk for the price and recommend it. I will probably get the larger one for my daughter.

These desks are really nice for the home office and especially for those working from home to have the option to stand or sit at the press of a button. This desk was easy to assemble and has a nice smooth motor to raise and lower the desk as needed. You get 3 preset buttons so you can set 3 different height settings and adjust quickly to them. Very happy with this desk!
