Works fine for attaching anchor to chain and chain to anchor rope. No rust. Holds fast.

These are well made and good quality. I am not sure what Grade of stainless Steel they are ? 304? 308? 316? etc.It would be nice to know.

Seem like a quality shackle. Price is great for a stainless steel shackle. Sure there are probably higher quality shackles out there but for the money you can't beat them. Perfect for my boat anchor.

Seems like good quality have not had it in salt water for long so only time will tell if it rust
