I recently purchased the SeaSense Cleat 8-Inch Nylon in black for my pontoon boat and dock, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my choice. Only time will tell as to how long it will last. I'm not depending on it to moor a boat in high winds or for extended periods of time. But as a simple cleat for use as a limited-time tie up, it is perfect. I like the 8-inch size--big enough for easy use and not so large as to be in the way. The black color is unobtrusive and blends in well with my dock. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

These are a good deal and look good. I have an 18' bow-rider on a small lake and these are perfect. I might be a little hesitant with a larger boat on a dock that is more exposed to heavy waves but usually other measures are required for that. So if your dock is fairly protected, these are great.

I am using this to secure a tie-down for a Jeep Wrangler top hoist. It works wonderfully for my needs. Solid, easy to install, etc.

The cleats were mounted on a dock to tie the dock lines from my boat. They are easy to mount and they were big enough to tie a 3/4" rope thru and around the cleat. They are as strong as a metal cleat and a lot cheaper. I would highly recommend this cleat over a metal one because of the cost.

Seems sturdy. Is excellent for my application (hanging a Kayak) Not sure how much I would trust it's strength on a boat

These are excellent cleats, low cost easy to install and are big enough to use 1/2" lines, maybe more. Plus they will not rust or cause a reaction between different metals. Obviously size for your use.

Good quality product. I'd say cleats good for boats up to 28 feet.
