My son vented his fuel tank to the air filter housing of his Ford Superduty and was unsure how to tap-in to the air box using 3/8 hose.. This barbed bulkhead fitting from Amazon was the perfect answer at a great price.

Used this to pass the fuel line through the trunk of my car for a fuel cell install, while hooking the fuel cell to the stock lines under the car.Worked great and looks safe.

The overall quality is great and it will suite my purpose perfectly. However, this could use some sort of seal instead of just a metal washer.

This did what I wanted it to, but the fitting's shape and the included washer aren't a good fit. The washer fits around the shank of the fitting, but only the points of the hex profile catch the ID of the washer. I was afraid to torque it down to get a gasket to seal around the wall this was going through because the hex profile was likely to broach out the flimsy washer. I picked up another thicker washer to make it work. The fitting really needs a flange below the hex to press on whatever washer/gasket you put between it and the wall it's going through.

I ordered the wrong size but it is a good quality item that I am keeping around because I will need it sooner or later. It's a nice fitting.

I used two of these to run fuel to and from a cab mounted fuel tank for an EFI install into an old Ford pickup. Much cleaner install that eliminated the need for rubber grommets.
