I measured my head and neck using a flexible tape measure and was right at a size large according to the size chart. The hood does fit, but it is very tight and constrictive. I tried it in the shower and it did feel a bit better, but I think next size larger might work better for me (with a wetsuit it seem that it’s always that fine line between being tight enough to perform well and being too tight). I’m giving it 4 stars because I think the sizing chart is a bit off. Aside from that, the construction of the hood is good, all the seams look great, and the neoprene and face seal has a nice feel to it.

I like it very much. It's a very quality hood. The long neck flap allows for nice meshing with a wetsuit top and creates a great seal. I have no complaints; the seams and stitching are all perfect. No flaws, no issues, no deformities. Just as good or better than others in its price range.

It feels sturdy, well-made, and does a great job keeping my head warm. However, the neck area is incredibly tight, making it difficult to put on and even harder to remove. At one point, I felt almost suffocated. There is no doubt that the M size is too small for a 5'8 male. If you prefer a looser fit around the neck or have a larger neck size, this might not be the hood for you. Otherwise, it’s a high-quality product if you can handle the snugness.

I'm typically between M and L with these kinds of hoods. On this one, the sizing chart made me cautious. I ordered a L. And this L is tighter than other Ms. Ergo: watch the sizing. If in doubt go one size up for sure.

This thing is great. It goes on tight and keeps out water well. I see no indication that this won't last forever.

My head and neck measurements put me exactly at size L, and indeed the hood is a perfect fit. The hood is very snug from top to bottom, which is a good thing for keeping warm underwater. I’m extra impressed because I’ve been cold water diving for 30 years and only one other, much more expensive, hood has ever fit me as well. There is not much stretch when it’s dry so it takes some force to get it over my giant noggin, but once wet it has more give. Keeps my brain warm in our cold winter ocean! If you have issues with mild pressure on your neck or have a lot of hair to put up inside, I would suggest trying one size up.

I am in between XL and 2XL measurements. I got the 2XL. Unfortunately it is too small. The hood looks well made, but I won't be able to use it.
