Not the first PSU I've ever purchased but definitely the best. Was heavily considering the Noctua edition to this one due to its lower decibel output. But it's not done with magic and the trade-off is increased heat across critical PSU components.Still haven't put the PSU shroud back on my PC yet and the side panel is also still off, but cannot hear anything coming from the PSU. I'm not saying it is dead silent, I'm saying I can't hear it above any of my PMW case fans even without the shroud and side panel. And I'm using high end fans that are quiet.Stable, solid, quiet performance. Extremely pleased.Others brands I've used are Be Quiet, Corsair, and Mushkin.

Superbe alimentation !

Power supply is big, you may want to get dimensions to see if it will fit in your case but most full towers should be fine. Very nice quality and build. Cables are easy to manage in the case. As to how it performs? It’s a power supply at the end of the day, keeps my overclocked 14900k and 4090 happy. Do i see a difference from my older evga platinum power supply? Yes actually, this atx 3.0 handles my 4090s power spikes better causing minimal circuit breaker tripping. I was experiencing more with the evga. Overall I would recommend for high power consumption components and newer systems especially nvidia high end cards.

Why seasonic over another brand? Because this was the easiest one I could verify in explicit terms has a native 12vhpwr port. I solved my PSU issues, reduced the amount of cabling in my case by like 25%, and voltages are rock solid.

I couldn't believe it! After building everything and troubleshooting for hours, I couldn't understand why my PC wouldn't turn on! And then it hit me. So I read the Seasonic manual, and it said to use the tester that came with it. I thought "No way, this is such an expensive item, there's no way..", and then low and behold... the tester showed that the PSU was NOT functioning as it should.Admittedly, had I read the manual and followed step 1 : "Test the PSU first before building." , I wouldn't have wasted so much time and effort. But one of the top of the line PSU's definitely needs better quality control. I was so irked by the DOA unit, I just went with another brand after..

Bought two for a dual power motherboard, works great. Don't be a dummy like me and take far too long to realize it came with an extra cable to convert between CPU and PCI-E, only needed if you really go all out on your GPUs.

Bought it to replace an old Seasonic X Series XM2 1250w PSU that I bought in 2016, it started making weird noises from the fan and I thought it's time to buy an ATX 3 PSU and be future proof. This PSU is awesome and so silent, loaded it up to 1000w and the fan didn't even spin! The cables are easy to route and all of them are flat and sleeved. The title of this amazon listing is a bit misleading as it has 1300w in the title but you will receive the correct 1600w ATX 3.0 version. The title mentions 1300w because in some power outlets it will give you a max of 1300w (100-240vac (1300w) vs 115-240vac (1600w))I wanted to get an ATX 3.1/PCIe 5.1 PSU but I read the differences are so trivial and only in the 12VHPWR plug (now called 12V-2x6 in the ATX 3.1 spec), what matters is that your GPU be ATX 3.1 with H++ marking on the power plug. The PSU plug doesn't matter whether it's 3.0 or 3.1 because it won't be moving and the cable will be fixed in place all the time. You also have to know that the 12VHPWR cable remains the exact same regardless ATX 3.1 or 3.0.Also worth noting that he ATX 3.1 spec allows for a lower hold up time so it's worse in that regard.

The title covers most of it. It’s one of the few options if you need a high quality and high efficiency PSU of this wattage. That can be a bad thing, but in this case, they do a great job with the packaging, docs, parts, etc.

Only superlatives comes to the mind with this massive power supply. From the box, all the cables, the casing, accessories, everything screams 'high quality'. Very heavy, the PCB connectors are extremely well made, all the cables are top notch quality and seats with a pleasant click noise. Talking about noise, once you turn on your computer, you quickly realize how dead silent its this power supply. While running 3dmark fire strike extreme with my RTX4090 drawing 500 watts (plus an i9 13900k, 64gb DDR5 and a ton of RGB) the power supply doesn't even sweat. The plan its to add a second 4090 to practice with AI, that's why I decided to shell $600 on the best power supply available to have plenty of juice for both GPUs. Be aware this power supply is big, so you will need a big space inside your case..In short, this thing is amazing, super high quality cables, ultra silent and absolute performance. If you have the $600, pull the trigger, you wont be disappointed.

Costs a pretty penny, but this is one component that's going to travel with you from build to build. Why? 1.6kW is basically the max power you'll get out of a standard North American wall socket. And it supports 2 ATX 3.0 connectors, which are both rated at 600w - and that's 3/4 of your power budget right there - you just can't get more out that poor socket. That standard just came out and will be there for a while. GPUs will basically have to adhere to it.In 220V countries (or if you are lucky to have a socket like that in your house in the US) you could potentially get more power into a PSU, but I really doubt a mass market manufacturer is going to go for this any time soon.On top of that, it's really hard to get more efficient that this PSU already is.I've built a 2x4090 + Threadripper Pro using this puppy, and it performs admirably, given that at a max load it really pushes the max power limit of both the PSU and the wall socket. This is what you get when you use quality components! If you add all of these points together, you can see, how this is going to be an ultimate PSU for a while, I think for the next decade. It's cost? Pay once, cry once.
