The timer works great for my kids, especially my 2 year old who needs plenty of warning before changing tasks. It does not feel like the more durable device, especially the dial mechanism, but it’s held up well so far (3 months).

I thought for sure that only the light and alarm worked but that the timer was a dud-- it was me. I was the dud. When you first use the timer, turn it past ten and then to the time you want. The button on top is to stop/pause the alarm, not start the timer. The timer starts counting down as soon as you set it. Hope this helps.#not working, troubleshooting

You can always hear the ticking and there’s no silent option, which is really annoying. Overall it felt cheap and flimsy.

We use this in the morning to help our kids visualize how much time they have left to get ready for school. It’s so versatile, our 7 year old Can see the minutes while the color of the time left is easy for our four year old to understand. This has been so much more helpful than just setting a timer on Alexa as they can see how much they have left before the alarm goes off. Highly recommend.
