The chain is fine, but the lock is the worst quality. All the metal edges on the lock are razor sharp and you can easily cut yourself , if you are not careful. Beyond that, the locking mechanism is utterly useless. I don't see this lasting very long at all. I might use this very short chain for something, but I have already thrown out the lock to prevent hurting anyone by simply handling it. Simply put, this is Chinese garbage at its' finest.

The chan and lock combo is great. The chain has a nice weight. The lock is very nice also.Updated 07/16.. this lock has been outside for the last few weeks and I noticed today when I unlocked it has rust on several parts see pictures.

The chain heavy, And obviously works like it's supposed to. However the lock rusted within 2 weeks of being outside. This is not a lock that is made for outside. There is no rust or issue with the chain. If you're going to buy this I recommend buying a different outside lock.
