Seesii Updated Underground Wire Locator
This tool is a portable, multipurpose cable tester. For communications engineering professionals, wiring engineering personnel, network maintenance personnel, and others, it is a crucial test tool because the cable application type is improved, the function is increased, and the application scope is greater. Note: When looking for cables, the cables must not be powered on.
Find Breaks
When the breakpoint is reached, the tone will weaken and then disappear.
External Earphones
This Cable Tester is equipped a pair of 3.5mm earphones that can be connected to the the receiver earphone jack to improve efficiency in a noisy environment.
Conductor detection continuously (path)
There are two ways to detect the connectivity of lines:
a)OnIy use the transmitter to detect. Turn on the power of the transmitter,turn on the power indicator light,and the transmitter starts to work. Then pull the function knob switch to the "CONT" position, and clamp the red and black clamps to both ends of the line to be tested. If the impedance indicator light is on,the line is continuous. The smaller the line impedance is,the more the indicator lights are on. If it is more than 1K, it is considered that the line is not
connected. If it is less than 1K, every 100 CI Iess,one more lamp will be lit.
Detection Probe
The 24 inch long, flexible, and easily precise line location probe is straightforward to use.
Rechargeable Battery
Different from other tester, this wire locator has built-in 3.7V battery, with low battery indicator, which can solve problems that require frequent battery replacement.
Low-power signal
When the battery voltage of the receiver is lower than about 3.5V, all other indications, excluding the charging indicator, flash five times to remind charging in a timely manner and then turn off automatically.
The power indicator on the transmitter will flash five times to alert the user that the transmitter's battery needs to be replaced when it is around 6V below the working voltage, and it will switch off automatically after flashing five times.
NOTE: The receiver volume adjustment knob is modified to adjust the received signal strength

They look good but you have to be in an extremely quiet area even with the headphones in they could’ve put a little bit more into the amplification but if you’re in a quiet spot, they work just as good as $1000 underground locator, other than the fact that you only have one frequency to work with But you can’t have it all for that price but if you need something to find some wires underground they will work

I used the earphones, in a quiet area, on max volume, with the transmitter on max (tried all the settings, but settled on analog)... in places where the Underground boundary wire is exposed, it's fine but even if it's buried 1/2 an inch you have to know pretty well exactly where the wire is and touch the tip to the ground within an inch or two of the wire, only to barely hear it. It might be better with better earphones, but not sure.

Make sure the electric does not exist. In my case an unknown GFI plugged had tripped due to a storm outside. Place ground rod in earth and clip black lead on and clip on red clamp on black wire. Turn o. And start searching. When you get to far from wire tone gets weaker. Lead me to my hidden GFI plug and back in business

I have an invisible fence pet containment system with the wire buried underground. If your buried wire get a break it’s difficult to locate the break without a wire break locator.It’s easy to use and you can locate the break in minutes. If you have an Invisible Fence you need this tool

Used this to locate a coax in my attic. Instructions are completely incoherent. Like someone banged on a keyboard. Anyway, the unit can kind of sort of get you within 20 feet of something that might be your cable. I don't really know because the instructions are so terrible. You might have better luck throwing a random dart at the wall and guessing if a cable is there.

I purchased this device to locate the path of an underground cable for a post lamp in my front yard. It was more expensive than other models but I bought it because it appeared to be a more capable device. Unfortunately, the instructions are so poorly written (even worse than a Google translation) that I cannot tell how to use it. I am familiar with electronic equipment and understand the Physics behind this device, but this piece of crap has me stumped. It has both analog and digital functions, but the instructions fail to describe when or why I should use analog versus digital. It is unclear whether I should connect to the transmitter to one or two conductors. The receiver beeps even in areas where there are no electrical conductors, and sometimes it does not beep where I know there are conductors there. Also, the sound is inconsistent, beeping when I make a pass over the lawn, but not when I make a second pass. Adjusting the sensitivity does not help. I tried many options--adjusting sensitivity, using digital and analog, connecting one or two clips to conductors--but I cannot find any pattern that works. If anyone knows how to use this device, please provide instructions, preferably in readable English.

much easier to use than what I had and easier to read. Only issue I've had is the voltage testing, it performs differently and had to adjust my testing technique especially for really low voltages

Fantastic meter dont have to turn knob and set ranges ant that sort of things .Tests capacitors and resistors very accurate.Love this one more than all my meters.
