I was having serious issues with my Segway Navimow robot and was on the verge of returning it. The performance was spotty, and it struggled to do its job properly. Before giving up, I decided to try installing the GPS antenna on the roof using this kit, and I’m so glad I did. The kit made the installation easy, with a secure mount and a waterproof extension cable that gave me the flexibility to position the antenna exactly where it needed to be.After getting the antenna up high and away from the base station, the Navimow started working flawlessly—no more struggles, just smooth operation. If you’re having similar issues, I highly recommend not installing the GPS antenna too close to the base station. Instead, get it as high as possible to ensure the best GPS signal. This simple adjustment completely changed my experience, and now my robotic lawnmower works like a charm.

I purchased this because I don't know what application the included post would actually work and not have to look ridiculous in the middle of my yard. It installed easily and is well designed, my only gripe was buying an expensive robot mower and then have to buy more stuff to properly get signal to the receiver. Sadly after taking a few hours to set everything up, this robot had terrible traction so I'll be getting back on the house to take this down and return it.

TL; DR: Good mount, should have been in the box, but drain holes facing opposite ways instead of all facing down.Good antenna mount. Should have come in the kit instead of being sold on the side. The one negative thing is this has 3 drain holes (That also serve to snake the GPS cable though). 2 on the shaft, and one in the base. If you mount this on the side of your roof, the shaft drain holes face up, and the base drain hole faces down. So essentially every time it rains, the shaft will fill with water and run down the base drain hole against your roof facia (The wood that runs vertical, lining your roof) Possible accelerating dry rot. So I decided to mount it upright on my fence instead.I thought maybe I started screwing the shaft into the base from the wrong angle, so I tried like 3 different angles to rotate the threads into the base. But nope, same direction every time. This seems like an oversight.

It works well, but be sure to acquire your own screws before mounting. The ones included in the package are ineffective, even in soft wood.
