For something bordering on pocket size this offers so much bang for the buck.If you are looking to try out gaming on a hitbox but do not want to spend possibly hundreds on a custom unit, give this a shot.Small and light enough to easily carry with you, great for on the go gaming and works perfectly with a Steam Deck or ROG Ally. Compact enough to fit in the bag I use for my mobile gaming setup.Fully customizable, off the shelf switches, easy to take the front plate off to add your own art if you want. This has more features than some way more expensive pads I have.Absolutely give this a shot if you are curious.

I've always wanted to get into fighting games but doing complex inputs on a controller joystick would quickly make my thumbs sore. This leverless pad takes some learning to get used to, but has a very sensible layout--the button at the very bottom and the button at the very top both correspond to 'up', which doesnt make sense until you start to use the southernmost button as a means to keep from moving your other 3 fingers from the left/down/right buttons.Furthermore, customization is fun and easy, with numerous websites offering to print and ship custom insert art that you can disassemble the pad--5 layers of acrylic and the circuit board held together with 4 screws, and set the art just below the topmost layer. The photo featured is the custom art that my pad now uses.If the size is a concern, then consider the T or G-series pads from the same manufacturer, that feature an identical button layout on a device with larger surface area, but I like this one for its easy storage and deployability.

Got this after trying out a friend’s. The build quality is alright, but it’s pretty friendly to customization if you wanna swap something like switches or the buttons. I haven’t (so far at least) encountered any major latency or performance issues. Not a fault of the product but setting it up for ps5 can be a bit overwhelming as you will need an adapter (booter 5, mayfly, etc) and mess with settings/firmware. Doing this is fairly straightforward though, especially if you’re tech savvy, and there is great community support if you get stuck with setting it up or encounter any issues (haute42 discord, and DrJones694 on YouTube have answered 99% of my questions lol)Definitely worth a buy if you’re looking to try out this type of fightstick, especially at the price point!

My previous favorite was the T12/13 which is a larger sized Haute42 hitbox style controller. After finally getting the settings right in the online configuration tool, I used this as Lily in Street Fighter 6. The button presses are nicer than the other Haute42 controllers I use, I think the tolerances must be tighter or something because they all have the same linear switches. This is my new favorite. These controllers have completely customizable settings, including button maps and using specific consoles. It has RGB, but I just leave those on default. It has a nice little OLED screen on it that has various info. The included USB C cable should be a right angle, but at least they include one. The "SOCD cleaner" modes are changeable in the configuration tool, which make it all tournament legal. I use on PC, so I don't need the adapter from brooks or other brands like Ps5 users need. I'm not sure about Xbox, but probably them too. Overall, I think this is the best suggestion I have for someone looking for a SMALL hitbox style controller that feels great. It also is a very reasonable quality given the features and quality.

This is my first leverless controller. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on one, so this was great. Doesn't feel cheap and was easy to customize. Also, was able to get it working easily on my PS5 with a MagicBoots dongle (not plug and play, but easy to configure).

This little guy is amazing.Let's start with the buttons: simply everything you can ask for. They feel good, even my wife likes to press them. Easy to set up. The price is tough to beat. It is so light weight. My other leverless is SO HEAVY. This will be my travel controller for sure. Extremely easy to clean, as my hands get sweaty in heated battles, so there is no grit that gets caught up in it.Cons:There isn't much, but one thing that you'll need to be careful of is that its PS4, not PS5. So you may need a converter. The other thing is that it is SUPER tiny, if I'm playing at a tournament where i cant put it on my desk, then playing in your lap will take some adjusting. Sometimes I miss the buttons my pinky wants to press, but that is more muscle memory than anything.
