Probably isn't anything wrong with the piece, but what they sent did not fit my outdrive. Ended up bringing the old one to local O'Reilly's and they found a perfect match in their inventory for a better price.

I ordered two of these to replace them on my Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 2. During installation 2 of the caps cracked (1 on each unit) and put us in a bind because we were planning on finishing and getting the boat in the water for the weekend. When I sent a message through Amazon I was told to return them and they would replace them. Anyone installing these knows what that entails so I contacted SEI directly to see if I could buy just one unit and use the caps to replace the 2 broken ones and if they would maybe give a discount. Instead they sent me a brand new one 2 days priority! At no cost to me, it was a quick easy fix and worked perfect!. Now that's what I call great customer service!!
