I needed a small subwoofer for a party, and discovered that there were may inexpensive ones out there. Digging deeper, I realized that most of these were inexpensive because they used cheap components and/or lacked features. The SA was the size I wanted, could take a stereo signal and redistribute it, had a crossover, and was portable enough for my requirement. When I first received it, it seemed like I was getting no signal, but a call to the customer tech support helped me realize that the problem was user error, and all was good. It functioned at my event perfectly. I can't give it a 5 star rating because it is a cheap piece of audio gear, and probably would not last as long as one of the big names, but I was very pleased with what it is.

First one received had a broken cabinet … great job in quickly replacing however the replacement (connected the same way as I tried the initial before returning) has a incredibly loud hum at any volume … unless Seismic Audio has an answer for this issue I will be returning this as well

This powered sub is truly an awesome find. Very light, which is perfect for dragging to venues. The top pole mount makes it great to pair a line array, or 6 to 8 inch small pa speaker. Not sure what the weight limit would be for making it top heavy, if you go larger, like say a 12. The first thing I did was take out the cheap PA speakers Seismic Audio shipped with these, and replace with an Alpine S series 10" sub. The sound is incredible once I switched. such tight bass, spot on. incredible clarity. I'd suggest Seismic Audio take out that cheap pa speaker at the factory, and ship with one of their better 10" subs, and this would be a steal of a deal.

Great little sub. I use it for acoustic gigs to add that little extra. Just run a 3/4 from the sub to my board and boom!

Output didn't match the specs on this speaker. Just didn't do quite the job I was expecting it to.

Nice to add a little bass to my gigs. Not deep thumping as expended but a nice midrange moderate pulsing bass.
