These filters are very nice when in use. The included carrying case is helpful. Two things: 1. Magnets should be stronger. Doesn’t give a feeling of security. 2. The worst thing is when the base ring is attached without any filters, it does not allow the lens cap to be attached properly. It falls off easily. Bad design on that.

Functional, bright, color options really make a difference, extremely portable and easy to fold up. Took this on a trip and it wasn’t inconvenient at all.

I love to flip it open and shut, especially after figuring out how to do it. If at first you do not succeed read the instructions. They are clear and should solve any folding issues.

The 60cm reflector does not have a tripod hole in the handle, but clamping the handle does allow the reflector to stand up. The handle is easy to hold with one hand for portraits and the reflector does not flop or swing. The reflector is sturdy and a good size for closeup portraits or tabletop food photography.Tip: A large version of a flexible spider-like tripod makes a good tabletop reflector holder. I make a couple of the rubber ball joints lay flat on a table and let the reflector sit on those joints while leaning against the tripod head. By flipping the tripod around, the reflector can leaning toward or away from the subject. This saves me from putting a light stand or boom arm at the table.

Seems really well made, and I love the handles. I really wish there was even a basic 1-page "instructions for use/care" type pamphlet. It came with nothing. Hey, I'm fairly new to photography, and this is my first reflector. Would have been nice to include a simple instruction to describe: typical uses, care, how to fold it, etc. I shouldn't have to go to youtube to learn to do the most basic function of storing it. Believe me, I tried several ways before I gave up and watched a video in slow motion. If they had but included a single piece of paper, even with nothing more than a link address on it to get me started, then this would have been a 5 star review.I stand by my initial criticism about lack of simple instructions, HOWEVER after a few years of use and purchasing a second one of these recently, I have to raise my rating to 5. This product is simply the best value (cheap!) and most flexible lighting accessory you can buy for the money. Mostly I use the diffuser rather than the reflectors but combining this with natural or studio lighting as a modifier has been great for me. Don't spend money on a fancy but crappy LED light when this will give you better results for less.

Purchased this 5-in-1 reflector set (32 inch round version) for a kindergarten class photo shoot that I did last week. This is the first time for me using reflectors and boy, I wish I would have purchased these sooner. I love photographing outdoors but there are definitely times where you are not able to control the lighting...it's Mother Nature! With this, you now have the ability to direct or filter the sunlight as needed. Living the the Pacific Northwest, the weather/sunlight is unpredictable to say the least. The photoshoot was right around lunchtime, so the sun was out in full force. My assistant was able to hold up the white filter and disperse/soften the harsh sunlight over the subject's face. This made a world of difference. We also used some of the reflective sides as the sun was beginning to angle behind the subject.To summarize: This is a great purchase for any photographer shooting outdoors. It's easy to use and provides 5 different reflectors (one of which is a filter). I had no issues with folding it back up into the zippered case. Also, the handles are nice to have.

I'm loving this thing! So far, my favorite part is the diffuser without the reflectors zipped on. But I also like the white reflector a lot. I don't know how often I'll use the other reflectors but I'm experimenting just for fun. What surprised me most was how easily the wind catches it when you're using it. It makes sense, since I got the 43 inch one, but I don't regret the size at all, since it covers a lot. I definitely have to have someone else to hold it to/over my subject while I take pictures.Some of the reviews made it sound like getting it folded back up to fit in the bag is like wrestling a bear, but that hasn't been my experience so far. It twists up very easily to fit back into that compact bag, so it's so convenient to bring it along.I'm an amateur photographer just taking pictures for fun, so I don't have the knowledge of a professional, but this set is well worth the money for me.

ORDERED = 04/07/2016 || SELLER = HM-Photo || PAID = $22.90(Beware of Seller changes! That's how you can get burned!):: PROS ::1.) Well made, great feel, easy to hold for long periods.2.) Very rigid, folds up well, you will need to coax them to start folding though...stout!3.) Fits in the case provided, no coating has come off yet, they do NOT stick together which is nice.:: CONS ::1.) Can be tough to close if your unsure, I had no problem, but I have several of these ;)2.) Some users will need a video guide on how to close.3.) GOLD is very hot, almost too hot, but the reflected light has a nice 'diffused' look NOT a hard foil shine.:: OVERALL :: The best reflectors I own, very good quality & highly recommended, just don't be timid when you start to close them. ALSO hold handles tight to AVOID the handle cracking others complain about. NEVER start a fold near the handles, this can break them, folding should start 1-2 feet from handle.
