Let’s start with the basics. This order comes with 4 items in the package which are the selfie stick, the bar screw, a wristband, and a pack of 6 anti fog wipes. The selfie stick measures 7 ¼” long when compressed and 19” long when expanded.My initial impression when I first opened the package was that it looked smaller than I expected, but then I realized that was nice because it would take up less room in my gear bag.Most people buy this product with the intention to provide a telescoping handle for their GoPro. I do a lot of sports where this is useful, such as snowboarding, skimboarding, hiking, and even snorkeling. The telescoping feature of this product has three tiers, and I like that each one locks individually. The locking is an intuitive twist, right to lock, left to release.The handle of the grip has a distinct odor to it upon unboxing. The odor transfers to your hand, which I am not fond of. It is not a bad odor, but it is not a pleasant one either. It has a smell similar to moth balls. Maybe it’ll keep the moths away as an added bonus until it wears off.When thinking about purchasing this product, the most important aspect to consider is whether you want the name brand or not.For the value that you get out of this product, I feel that this price is fair since the price matches the quality, and the quality is good enough for the average user.Overall, I decided to give this product 5 stars. I chose that rating because it gets the job done, has an effective telescoping and locking mechanism, and comes with thoughtful extras like the anti fogging cloth and the wristband. At this size, weight, and cost this would also be a great gift. If this sounds up your alley then go ahead and treat yourself!I hope that you found this review helpful. Enjoy your day!

Once again, I ordered an item on impulse without ensuring that it was what I needed. This selfie stick is for GoPros (several models listed) and it says that right in the ad heading! So, rather than taking away stars for my error, I will review this stick without having tested it on an actual GoPro. When opening the box, there is definitely an odor, like a preservative smell, that is not pleasant but in the short time that I was examining it, pretty much dissipated. The stick is very solid and the telescoping feature works smoothly and easily. It extends to 19” so plenty long enough for anyone who needs a selfie stick. (I was hoping that my granddaughter could use it. Maybe a GoPro for Christmas?!) It comes with a handy wrist strap that is easy to attach to the anti-slip handle and is also small enough to carry in a purse or backpack. There is probably no need for a user manual, which it doesn’t come with anyway, but there are a few little white pads included, their purpose unknown. So, lesson learned, know what you’re ordering!
