As a long time Senco user I knew what I was getting, quality wise. I have an older narrow crown stapler that is still going strong and that I was using 5 days a week. I decided to buy this one because it's lighter and easier on the wrist joint. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it holds only one clip as opposed to my older stapler which accepts 2. More time spent loading which impacts productivity.Unless you are a professional it's not a major inconvenience if you' re looking for a great tool which will last a very long time

The quality of this staple gun is very poor. Had I known it was made in Taiwan, I would not have ordered it. The bar that slides back to expose the staple chamber is very cheap and of poor quality. I do not recommend this item to any woodworker or cabinet maker.

I have owned a Senco brad nailer for over ten years and it looks awful covered in glue and paint and dropped numerous occasions-- however, it still works as good as the day I bought it. It made sense to me to look to Senco again for a stapler. The stapler has more plastic than the older nailer, but it seems to be solidly built. I have used it for a few thousands staples of various sizes and have had almost no problems. No jambs whatsoever. I occasionally get a no-fire but I suspect that is the result of releasing the safety head up too soon. I do not own any other nailers, so I cannot compare, but overall it is solidly built and works as advertised.

So far this stapler works very good, I wasn't expecting any less considering it is a senco. I haven't had any jambs yet. This thing is extremely light too, which I guess is a good thing if you're using it all day. I've always liked some heft to my tools but it seems well made despite how light it is. The depth adjustment knob and select fire trigger work well too.

I used this gun the first time to staple a sound board in a harp that was also being epoxied in to a harp. It had to be reliable, free of malfunctions since time was critical. It worked flawlessly first time out and placing about fifty staples at the proper depth in less than five minutes. If it had not worked properly, I would have a major rework - removing the improperly bonded sound board, resurfacing the harp body, building a new sound board, et al. So far I have had no flawed operation with this gun.

I bought this stapler to install some underlayment plywood for a new vinyl floor in a bathroom. Although I have not used it on the job yet, I've gone around my home stapling every loose piece of trim, and whatever else I could find to 'play' with my new 'toy'. The old lady stopped me just short of stapling her cat to the floor! This thing is a great buy for the money. I've shot about 200 staples so far and not one jam. I can't speak to how it will hold up in the long run but I am very happy with it so far.
