1. Make sure the surface of the device you want to secure is clean and smooth.
2. Peel the protective film from either side of the adhesive strip, and press the exposed adhesive to the device you want to secure.
3. Carefully remove the second protective film from the adhesive strip without removing the strip from the device.
4. Press the security plate firmly onto the exposed adhesive and allow the adhesive 30 minutes to set.
Your Sendt Security Plate is ready to use! Follow any directions that are included with your lock.

Pretty simple concept but they work. I wanted to place it on the edge of a laptop but the plate is wider than the edge so I improvised and but a little off the side of the adhesive. Maybe not the most secure option but enough for what I need.I wouldn't hesitate to add these to any other devices that need to be locked in place.

Been using this product in conjunction with laptop security cables as an anti-theft deterrent to my outside cameras. Some of the installations now go back 5 years and the product still has a firm adhesion on the camera bodies.

So the metal side of this product is fantastic. The adhesive is lame though. I'm going to try using Liquid Nails instead cause these can be pulled right off with the adhsive they give you (which I did after 24-hours and it was very easy).

This is a good option to protect items with no security lock port, so far I have not had any issues with the adhesive for the plate, but based on other reviews I have the gorilla epoxy just on case.

Purchased to test with Kensington locks. We use them for Polycom star phones and have yet to have any issues with the locks being removed.

The plate is small and unobtrusive, made of solid metal, and smooth to the tough. I have attached two of them to items that keep getting "borrowed" from my office and not returned. While the adhesive tape means the "borrowers" could simply peel it off and walk off with my items anyway, I am hoping this will serve as a deterrent. The supplied adhesive tape WILL peel off, so it is not a permanent attachment. I'd suggest epoxy if you want it to never be peeled off. It will deter most people, but if someone really wants to steal it, it will be fairly easy to remove.
