Incredibly dissatisfied with this product. We purchased two for our Senior Pastor to use in a church setting, and after using them ONCE a week for about a month, one died almost completely (distortion, cut outs) and the other started to distort terribly and is rendered unusable. The return policy for these mics was within a month, so we fell just outside the window and cannot do anything about it. Would give 0 stars if I could, and incredibly disappointed with Sennheiser, who usually has great products.

Buy at your own risk.I have bought 2 and only one was working. Tested my luck again and bought a third. Faulty again, severe cracking mic and static, unusable. Great when it works, but there is definitly quality assurance issues. Also, bad is very cheap for such an expensive and fragile piece.

This expensive item did not come assembled and does not have decent instructions. I struggled with how to put it together, worried that the little plastic connectors would snap off. Put it together only to find that the headband portion does not expand (slide back and forth). The mic ends up beside my ear..,and no, I do not have a big head. I found a video on-line about this item, but it was in German only. I have a 10 year old model of the Seinnheiser headset, that I will continue to use and will send this one back. Also waited over a month from date of order. If you want to buy something like this, go to a store and try it out first.. I thought I was saving money on Amazon, but with the wait time, lack of instructions, and the item apparently not working, now I am scrambling to have a better quality mic at the last minute. Very disappointed with the whole process.

Product arrived with visible "bruising" throughout the entire device however I had a gig coming up that I specifically ordered the mic for and I had no time to return. The device worked well (a few aggressive "pops" in the middle of performance) but I am concerned about the long-term reliability of this product given the obviously-used or "weathered" state in which it arrived.

This mic sound is great but the problem is...Static...I think this particular mic is faulty. I would steer clear of this mic.And My static has nothing to do with our frequency, I use a lapel mic and "hand held" wireless they both work great with our Sennheiser system. And our frequencies are not in the problem zonesThe static cuts in and out and we pin pointed it to the place where the wire and mic connect.I would send it back for a full refund but...just past the 30 day refund policy of Amazon. So, I am sending it to Sennheiser with the hope they will fix it. Here's hoping! buyer beware...Steer clear, just look at how many refurbished mics they have on Amazon. Bad Mic

This mic sounds amazing but the design is bad. The mic won’t stay clipped to the headset. We had to use tape to tape the mic to the headset. Not what you want to do when you spend $250 for a mic. We ended up sending it back and got a countryman.
