These work well in reducing the numbness in my hands while riding. Particularly noticeable on longer rides.

Put this under 2mil Fizik bar tape. Covid shortage and whatnot I couldn't find anything thicker on short notice. This gel does a good job at vibration reduction as well as giving a more well rounded grip on the bar. I primarily ride with long finger gloves with no padding, this provides the comfort of a good set of padded gloves. 5 stars from me, great product.

Bought to avoid hand numbness while riding with hands behind brake hoods. Had tried multiple brands of gloves and other tape-on solutionw but nothing really worked well. Trimmed these to fit; added the cut-off piece on top of the placed piece to cover a likely hot spot (double thickness) and wrapped with bar tape. Bar is a little thick but worked beter than expected. Much less numbness even on long rides.

I'm a big guy with big hands. Drop bars have never been great for me because of the diameter - I always feel like my hand is wrapped around itself.I've tried different solutions in the past - slip-on foam grips wrapped in thin bar tape, for example. This made the bars more than thick enough but wasn't the most attractive. Also, I had to use thin bar tape or the bars got too thick, and thinner bar tape doesn't have the best grip to it.This year, I used the gel inserts with a thick, textured tape. I love these inserts. They're firmer than the slip-on foam grips were and, combined with the textured tape, let me ride without gloves. The inserts are easy to install - just follow the directions on the package, trim to fit, stick on the bars, and wrap.I can't think of a single drawback except perhaps if you have really small hands, the inserts may make the bars too thick.

They have a really weird fit. I have 44 bars, and they were even over-sized on them. I had to kind of scrunch them to get them in right, so I don't think I'd recommend them.

These are some sticky pads, dude. Very nice design and it definitely adds an extra bit of cushioning under the bar tape. I think Serfas does a great job of making it as locked down as possible with the sticky backing, and although it may need some readjusting down the line, it does retain the gel cushion even after a lot of riding.

Worked very well. I have big wide hands. The handle bar cut right into the bottom of the palm putting pressure on a ulnar nerve. I used these a little different than designed to solve the problem.First, I did not remove the original padded wrap. Instead I placed the curve section right over top of the old wrap. Then I placed the straight pad, intended for the drops, on top of the most commonly used section. I secured this in place with some electrical tape. I then tightly wrapped the handlebars with a new wrap. Most of the bar has two wraps now, and commonly used sections have three layers of padding, and the most problematic section has four. When I use the drops, the double padding is nice, but it also doesn't press on the ulnar nerve in the same way, so I didn't really need the padding there. Now I have very nice and thick handle bars. They worked great and made the next 50 mile ride much more pleasant. Also, don't assume that I needed to secure the pads in place with electrical tape because they had insufficient adhesive. If I had been placing them on bare and clean metal handlebars they would have worked perfectly. I know, while adjusting the fit I stuck them to the side of the top tube, and they wanted to stay there. But, I was sticking them to well used, oil and sweat impregnated old handlebar wrap. It didn't stick really well there, especially while tightly winding the new wrap.

This stuff is pretty straight forward to apply. Seems like it could be more padded. It is okay, not sure it really helps enough. If your going to put this stuff on your bike, you may just consider doublewrapping your bars. Wife's bike is double wrapped and that is way better.Nothing wrong with this product, just not great. Needs to be more cusioning.
