It's great to take food and drinks out with this oval wooden tray. Load drinks, snacks, cutlery, and nothing will fall out. It's very convenient when I can use this tray when entertaining guests, and I feel like a more organized and prepared host. Very convenient to use, I use it very frequently, I highly recommend it!

What a bummer to receive this tray that looked so nice online and discover that it was put together either in a hurry, or by someone who was rushing to get it out. I know that all over the world people are being exploited and pressured to meet a quota of products to sell overseas. This is just a reminder of that and it makes me sad to think that somebody might've been trying to make 50 of these trays in one day and get paid almost next to nothing for it. It had spots where it was sanded bare, and not re-stained. The edges where the sides meet the bottom had tons of scrapes and bald spots, the underside looked more like that was supposed to be the top side of the tray, the inside of the tray had areas where it looked like stain remover had splashed onto it. This tray was a mess and quality control just let it slide on through. My intention was to use the tray for tea or for fruit, but I couldn't present anything on this to guests. It's too shoddy. The design is so nice though and the idea of it, had it been executed correctly, would've produced an exceptionally nice tray. I can't really recommend this to consumers. The manufacturing company needs to treat their workers better, or train them better.

I have several pieces of acacia servingware. Disappointingly, this piece is a much darker and less variegated wood than the pictures show and doesn't match or complement my other pieces at all. Still, it would work fine, but the finish is half-baked. Part of the wood wasn't even sanded smooth, and the painted on finish is splotchy, even missing in sections. I can fix all that in a half hour with a fine grit sandpaper and a can of Varathane but I shouldn't have to. If the finish was finished it's a nice size and sturdy construction for serving a snack or small plate lunch. I wish they hadn't slopped through the finishing steps. Not recommended.
