Weird but it actually works. The material is slinky and stretchy. The hood is oversized. It folds down into a cushy Abby pillow head. Daughter loves it.

This sweatshirt is so cute and soft, and looks just like Abby. The downside is that it is absolutely huge! I am not a small size, and I am also very pregnant. This thing is huge on me and I am a full grown adult that could lose 80 pounds! Keep that in mind when buying because it is very large.

Despite this being a pretty neat idea and a characters my kids love, it falls a little flat.At a lower price point, I'd be significantly less critical. Unfortunately, at the current price point, the value just isn't there.While it's not cheaply made, it doesn't quite scream quality either. It's made from relatively thin fleece blanket material and is a little bit too boxy and shapeless (really it should be more of a poncho than a pullover hoodie in my opinion).

This oversized Abby Cadabby sweatshirt is adorable! The material is super cozy and soft. The sweatshirt can be stuffed into the hood to make this adorable plushie. Awesome item!

This adorable and colorful blanket hoodie has been the perfect addition to winter movie nights! I love how extra soft and plush this fabric is, the whimsy of my favorite Sesame Street Abby Cadabby character, and the versatility of the hoodie/pillow are just a bonus! I don't mind that the fabric is on the thinner side, however, I am a little disappointed in the size, it initially appears fairly large but fits more snuggly than I would prefer for lounging at home. Regardless, I know it will be a big hit with my daughter on our next movie night. It's easy enough to tuck back into the sack for a pillow (though little ones may find it a struggle), and I like the pocket for storing snacks from the kitchen. Will I buy another one? Yep!

TWO THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW, WEARABLE BLANKET ENTHUSIASTS:1) This is a single-layer microplush hoodie, structured more like a pullover, with sweatshirt cuffs/waistband and kanga pocket. No sherpa inner layer, so it’s better suited for deep autumn chill or layering with other clothes.2) This is sized more like a US 3X unisex sweatshirt than a ginormous, thick minidress. It will hold heat better, but on larger/curvier people it will also feel a little closer to form-fitting than you may be used to. Size up to adult if your kid is on the taller side, especially if they’re looking for something longer and drapier.I actually really love this. As much as I enjoy my dual-layer winter wearables, they can be a little on the bulky or inflexible side and get super warm *super* fast. This is a great intermediate weight for comfort.The entire blanket/hoodie folds into a tiny travel-pillow/bag incorporated into the hood, with full Abby Cadabby face on one side. Stashing the outer bad inside the hoodie has a learning curve I haven’t mastered yet, so her pompom pigtails kind of bunch up inside the hood and leave a disproportion mate weight. I’ll figure it out — this is a skill level issue — but be aware if that’s going to be a sensory disruption for you.TBH, this is overall a great sensory experience for wearers who need their clothes super soft. The hood can completely cover your head if you need to shut the world out, and even with the added bulk of the reversible case, you should be able to fit in there with your bulkiest headphones.Abby Cadabby is after my time with Sesame Street, but I do love what I’ve seen of the character, and I really enjoy both her attitude and her color scheme. If you’re not a fan of the character, you might still want this as a sort of base for decora kei (or one of the related kawaii styles) roomwear. I don’t get that elaborate with my coords, but with a pair of soft high-waisted leggings and cute boot-slippers or socks, this can be anything from a costume to a comfort cocoon.Five stars, even with the hood issue.
