Colors are great! Brown is not too close to black, but in certain lighting I can imagine some would confuse the two. Overall happy with this purchase. Great replacement for the awful Hues and Cues board game pieces!

I bought these to use as extra queens in a travel chess set. They work well and are quality.

I wanted some little pawns for a board game I was making, and these were the best ones I could find. They came in a variety of colors, and you get plenty of them, enough for a 10-player game. Surprisingly, they were hollow on the inside, but other than that, the pieces met my expectations. Nothing appeared to be damaged during shipment, either.

I'm an avid board gamer and I wanted an alternative for some cardboard player markers. The set of ten (10) filled my needs. As others have stated it would be nice if they were filled to give them a little bit more weight. Never the less, they not to fiddly for their size and they work just fine. Costing less than $5 just seals the deal.

These pieces are certainly adequate for what they are (hence the 3-star average review), but are nothing special. The plastic feels cheap and they are hollow inside rather than a solid game piece. This could be a problem for someone who doesn't want them tipping over so easily. A couple of the bases on mine weren't completely even so they would rock slightly, but that didn't bother me.
