Purchased these to keep my homemade sourdough bread fresh. They are good for preventing mold but the bread can dry out after a few days. Just good to keep an eye on it.

Honestly, people are terrible at leaving reviews! If they were advertised as display bags only they’d get a 55. They are very beautiful. However, I bought these in hopes to keep my bread fresh and decrease my plastic waste. These DO NOT keep your bread fresh at all. They are hard as a rock and would be better left out in the open then put in these bags.

These bags are really pretty and seem like they'll hold up really well. But I'm not at all pleased with how they work, my bread does not stay fresh whatsoever. I'm sad and very disappointed about that, I was looking so forward to having something else aside from plastic bags to keep my sourdough bread fresh. I would return it but I've already washed them so I could try it out and threw all the packaging away. If your wanting this more just for looks it's perfect but keep in mind you'll want to put your bread in a ziplock or plastic bag to keep it fresh.

I love the look of these bags. These have a nice and natural/organic look to them. The simplistic 'Bread' across the front just makes me laugh. We have a neighbor who makes her own bread (Irish soad bread) several times a week and often makes loaves for other people. I got these for her so she can gift with style! Pity there are only 2 bags ... she'll have to gift them to people who'll give the bags back to her to reuse! As far as storing the bread, I wouldn't keep the bread in these bags. I only keep bread in plastic or else it gets hard. So, keep in mind these bags are just for presentation!!
