Better than I expected! Great for a six year old and great for the price. The string is a bungee. This is great for any aspiring soccer player to teach ball control and coordination

This is a great soccer practice tool. I bought one for my son who is just starting to learn soccer and he loves this. His kicking has improved a lot since he began using this. I recently had a birthday party for my son and I bought a bunch of these to put in the goody bags for his friends. They were a big hit.The quality seems fine. We've used ours for hours and hasn't broke. This is really easy to use and set up.

I visited my local sporting goods store looking for these. When I told the sales rep what I was looking for he gave me a rather confused glance and tried to sound like he knew what I was talking about. I mentioned that I used them 20 years ago and it seemed to click that he really did not know what the heck I was talking about. I mean, 20 years ago? Are you sure they are even made anymore, lady? As I walked out it occurred to me that I should check amazon, cause they have everything right!? Of course they do! I let out a little cheer as I put them in my cart, reminiscing about the (apparently) old days when these kept me occupied literally for hours. Shipping was quick, so quick in fact that before the tracking number even caught on to their location, they were here! Before giving one to each of my kids, I tested them out and everything checked out just fine, though I might need to order another set so I have my own now. I'm 5'3" and the length was great for me. Though I imagine taller people would be fine too since their arms are longer, you know, it all should even out. My kids are 7 and 4 and we just had to tie a knot above and below the handle to the length that worked best for them. These are not for power kicking, if you try power kicking with these I think you will be sore-ly disappointed, you need a backstop for that. These are for training. You kick the ball and you learn about foot placement, and you strengthen and train your non-dominant foot. It's not really useful for actual juggling as the net interferes with the bounce of the ball, but the purpose is to learn placement without having to chase the ball, first, then apply those skills to juggling once you have them down. I hope to use these as a coaching aid for my kids' teams as well. As far as durability, I have only had them for a few weeks, but in that time they have been rained and snowed on, left in the dirt, dragged through gravel and I'm pretty sure the horse stepped on one, and they are still doing just fine! I do think that children should be supervised while using these, and they should be set up away from pots and pets, as the urge to spin around swinging the ball with them is inevitable, as is collateral damage. Also, I have found that once they have spun around, there WILL come the idea to stop their body and let the ball and bungee wrap around them, and we wouldn't want that around their neck. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase, and when their time comes I will come here first to replace them.

Bought these for my kids. They arrived in the mail today and we've been having so much fun it was hard to get them to go to bed. It makes it much easier to work with them on their soccer skills because now we don't have to chase balls all over the place. I could see the bungee wearing out soon but this would be extremely easy to replace if it ever gives out. I was also surprised that each order included 2 juggling nets (totally missed that part) so I was pleasantly surprised when 4 arrived and I was only planning on getting 2! Makes this an even better deal. I will update my review if there are any product defects that come up.

This product performed well and hasn't come apart. Doesn't quite work as I had hoped, but then again I was trying to use it with an Aussie rules ball to practice goal kicking. A round ball would probably work fine and with a kids less powerfull kick

Meh! The kids looked at it tried them a few times but really didn't get into it. The string is too short to be completely useful,and it's best if they hold it and kick the ball. It's best to support juggling only and I wouldn't recommend for high power kicking. I would also only use on grass as the strings get worn pretty quickly. I wouldn't purchase again as it is limited in ability to help the soccer players.
