Our Design Series Set of 3 Hand Painted Frog Guiros is built to not only produce a quality sound, but to appeal to the creative percussionist with the detailed artwork. While most designs are fairly consistent, there will be slight variations in the hand-painted composition. The combination of 3 different sizes creates a high, medium, low melody when these tone block guiros are played together. The sizes are 4”/10cm (red design), 4.75”/12cm (blue design), and 6.25”/16cm (green design). Stick included. INSTRUCTIONS: Use the wood stick (included) to gently rake up the frogs back to create a high-pitch cricket chirp. Or lightly tap the nose of the frog with a thick end of the striker to get a resonating note as a wood tone block. Store the striker in the frog's mouth. NOTE: These wood frog guiros are large enough to be safe for younger children. Your purchase of this frog rasp helps support the efforts of Africa Heartwood Project

So stunning! So excited to give these as a gift to my friend who is a drum circle leader. These are amazing and also includes a sincere note regarding how the purchase helps benefits others. I am so excited to gift these, she is going to love them. I might have to get some for myself! Thank you for making them!

The frogs are absolutely stunning, fun to use and solid/sturdy enough to survive grade school age children without any damage to the wood or paint. The sound quality is best on the small frog, and pretty good on the medium one, but not great on the large one. The rod to play the medium one does not fit well in it's mouth
