Wolf Tooth designed these bolts to be the best on the market. These single chainring optimized bolts have a 4 mm hex socket on the bolt and a 6 mm hex socket on the nut so no spanner is needed. These are 6 mm long so they work perfectly with any bolt on single chainring that does not have threaded standoffs.

My 11 year old kid helped me put together my new crankset with these. It was nice not using a chainring bolt tool. They also look nice. Be careful though, they do scratch easily around the hex area.

It's a good Idea. Crank bolts that are easy to install without the need for a crank bolt wrench. I alway hated the crank wrench. They are usually made out a stamped piece of steel, are annoying to hold on to and sometimes slip off while using. Wolf Tooth crank bolts are designed to be applied using a hex key both inside and out. I had to give them 3 stars instead of 5 because a had 1 defective bolt that had a rounded out hole. I don't know it this a common problem with this product. I ended up using the bolts that were good and reused an old bolt in combination with the back portion of a new bolt to finish my project. I might try this product again.

Well engineered product. Nice, deep hex sockets on both sides means you’ll never damage the nuts or bolts. Torque specifications given. Much better than stock bolts that require two specialty tools to tighten or loosen.

so far they seem great, I've still have to subject them to some more serious trail riding and I'll update the review if needed. I love the fact that they use two different hex heads, making it easy to tighten them up. don't forget to use some threadloker though. and did I mentioned they look good ?

These are great. Well machined. I thought I was going to need washers to convert my SRAM Force crankset to a single chainring to compensate for extra chainring but these have additional threading so that it tighten down without using washers. Great design.

This set of chainring bolts use allen wrench on both sides to loosen/tighten, so it is very convenient and easy to install and remove. I am upgrading my '92 Cannondale 7x3 transmission to a 11x1 system. On the original Shimano Deore LX 3-piece crank, I removed the three chain rings and replaced them with a single Wolf Tool Drop Stop 36T chain ring. The installation using the Wolf Tooth bolts took very little time comparing to removing the original bolts and rings. Make sure you grease the bolt threads and tighten them to spec.

I'm very happy with these. I am known for breaking bike parts ALOT I'm 6'5" and 270lbs and I ride hard wether its bmx, mtb or riding my fixed gear all around town. And I'm always looking for the best strongest parts. The design of these chainring bolts is smart and strong and helps everything stay tight longer. Overall looks are great, design is great and quality is great. Would highley recommend.

What can i say they're wolf teeth! Look no further !!! They're decent bolts, not el cheapos. Hooked up my sugino rd2s! The blue is very well anodised and matches my collar and headset. The paint did not chip or scratch when I tightened them down. Installation was easy, swipe a little anti sieze lube on the threads and tighten em down! Carful they don't require a lot of brute force to get the correct torque. These bolts have a clean profile!!! I love the double sided versatility. You're definitely getting what your paying for! Be sure to stock up on these for all your rides !!!
