Measure twice and cut once..That's what I was always told while young and learning to sew. Really great for traditional sewing projects, and also, I use these pencils for drawing on canvas before painting. If an idea is a hit I just paint right over it, if the idea isn't working, I can simple erase the pencil lines with a damp sponge! This is always in my artist box! Highly recommend!

Horrible. The 'lead' inside the pencils is hard as a rock. Doesn't leave a mark when you draw and if you press hard enough to try to leave a mark, the 'lead' breaks. Worthless.

This pencil is much easier to use when drawing with a ruler, and I think even for free fit styling. Have not washed yet, but it's what I wanted to try. Love it.

Love the visibility of these when applied to my fabrics, an added bonus is that the sharpened points don’t break off when you go to use them right after it’s sharpened! They also erase easily by finger or a lightly dampened wipe. I have tried many different marking pencils and these are definitely a favorite!

You get two blue markers and supposedly two chalk marking pencils.I received two blue markers and two white pencil markers. I don't see any difference between them except the color. The white shows well on a black fabric but not before you press and go over the same place a few times so not quite like a chalk, same with the blue. Overall, they do the job for the price.
