Easy to see from the photos, but my sh-2n showed up with the box cracked in multiple places, haphazardly held together with two pieces of tape, and I'm not convinced the pickup was even new. Will be returning for a refund.

I'll admit, I am more of a Fender guy but always wanted a Les Paul. I found a cheap Epi and decided to gut it and rebuild.I put this pickup in the neck and I am so impressed. It was had to adjust to the warm sounds of this humbucker compared to the Fender clean sound I was used to, but wonderful tones are plentiful. I love to roll the volume back just a hair and it really sounds great. Not only that, but if you add a little gain it can give you a fantastic gritty blues tone all the way to 70s rock distortion. It's not gonna do metal but I was surprised how versatile the pickup is. I paired it with a SD SH5 and I can get any sound I need out of this guitar. Quality pickups can be ridiculously priced these days so paying $100 for this pickup is an amazing value.

Really pleased with this pickup: combines great with a Seymour Duncan Custom (SH-5) in the bridge. Neck pickup is smooth, warm, and clear, especially under distortion and with drop tuning. Couldn't be happier.

I'm a big fan of Duncan pickups in general. They have a great selection, good pricing, and I've never been disappointed when taking a chance and going off of their descriptions. I have the Jazz in the neck position of an Ovation Breadwinner (bolt-on, Mahogany neck and body) paired with a Duncan Hot P90 in the bridge. Getting my preferred balance between the two pickups was as simple as a half-turn of a few pole pieces. The tone is as described by Duncan: Medium-high output. Bright, sparkly high end (especially for a neck pickup) with a fat, bouncy bottom end. Great blend of articulation and warmth.

rien a dire, je l'ai posé sur une guitare type les paul, avec corps en acajou, le son est très chaud.très intéressant en clair / crunch, mais aussi en lead pour des solo quand on ne veut pas un son trop tranchant !

I have this pair with a SD distortion in the bridge of my Carvin CT6. It's a beautiful clean sounding pickup. It has quick response. It's not really warm like you would think the jazz name implies. It also distorts really well. I love a neck humbucker for shred lead and this works great for fast sweeps and smooth legato. It pairs perfectly with the SD distortion for a very versatile set up.

Warm, fat, and very versatile. You really can't go wrong with one of these in the neck position. One of the classic aftermarket neck pickups. Seymour Duncan has excellent wiring diagrams on their website. If you can figure out which end of a soldering iron gets hot, you can install one. I paired one with a SD 59' Combo at the bridge on a 93' Samick-built Epiphone G-400 and the sound is phenomenal. Highly recommended!

Paired this with a JB on a Squier strat. Initially I tried messing around with push /pull and micro switches to get all the different configurations possible like split, out of phase, parallel wiring. To my ears these options don't actually sound any good. Maybe it was my soldering or simplifying the signal chain but It was only when I binned the switches and wired it in the standard full humbucker way , It really came to life. Clean ,it is smooth and warm and with some gain it wails and sings. I am very happy now. Paired with the JB I have an impressive arsenal of usable sounds. I don't like that "hot" humbucker sound and this is perfect for me.
