I own a small business that sells crystals, so I use this tool a lot. It's actually the best of the three we have. It's super easy to use, it's accurate, and it's very well made. The case is excellent quality, and it is very convenient for taking it to pop up shops and markets. When I need to replace one of our others, I will absolutely order another of these.

I am a DIYer, so this is a handy device to have around. We had a trailer axle parts question and since the old part came off, we used this gauge to figure out the inner diameter of the axle cap and dust plug. We also used it for a variety of measurements about our retrofit project inside the trailer.The gauge was easy to use and read. The adjustment wheel is sturdy and moved in a precise manner. The case is handy and keeps the device safe.

I bought these calipers to measure the thickness of guitar strings and they gave accurate readings down to a hundredth of an inch. They are sturdy and well made, and even came with a spare battery, a tiny screwdriver to open the battery compartment, and a nice case.

These feel like a good sturdy pair of calipers and the case they come in is very durable feeling.It comes with 2 batteries, neither of which are installed in the calipers when it arrives so you'll need to use the included screwdriver to install a battery before you can start using it. When installing the battery, it will stick up further than what you think it should but the battery enclosure door has a recess in it to accomodate. Once it's situated and the door is screwed down, you're good to go!The case also has a little place to keep a spare battery at all times so you're never stuck with a dead set of calipers when you really need them!The only thing I'm not thrilled about with these is that they feel rough when your opening / closing them. I've had other calipers and they were nice and smooth. These aren't for some reason. And yes I made sure the locking screw was loosened. They still seem to work fine. Maybe it's just something I need to get used to.
