他にも同様の商品がありますがこれはソフトシリコン製でポートとの密着度が高く、更に取っ手が短い為邪魔にならずに見た目が良いですね。SFPスロットはなかなか使う機会が無く口がずっと開いたままで気になっていましたが、このダストカバーで解決。5つハブが並んでいてそれぞれ4ポートずつで20個が秒で無くなりましたね・・・。またリピしたいと思います。

SFPハブのポートに利用しました。シリコン製ですね。普通に空きポートをカバーするのに使えます。SFPのポートはLAN位空いているのでホコリ溜まりやすく塞いでおいたほうが安心です。ただ、数量半分位で半額のものも欲しいかな？

These appear to be made of silicone. They do fit next to each other in adjacent ports, or with an inserted transceiver. However… they are also a touch big. This does keep them from falling out easily, but also takes a bit of effort and wiggling to get them in.

I have a few areas dust is a big issue. We are always cleaning out the unit fans and also the connectors as we plug something new in. I have been able to through these in on empty ports and makes my life so much easier. While using these and installing them, they actually realize the issue that they have and has put things in effect to help protect the equipment from needing to be cleaned as often, by installing the equipment in a rack with filters on the vent ports.I have learned sometimes a visual does help make people aware and that what these did for me.Using these I have actually started making it a custom to installing these on places more often to minimize issues in the long run.

"Insert plug here."I got the BUNGPUNG RJ45 Port Dust Covers (20-Pack) to fill in a couple of blank ports in my rack patch panel. It's purely cosmetic and I don't think I've seen ports fail due to dust in the ports. My inner worrywart will likely disagree, but I'm in control! I could use the leftovers on a couple of devices that are used occasionally with Ethernet ports that are open. I could leave them powered off and connected to the switch but that would mean I'll need a switch with more ports or an additional switch. The CFO vetoed that proposal.These port dust covers are simple silicone plugs that go into an RJ45 port. They are keyed so they only go in one way. Given they are flexible silicone, I suspect you can jam them in upside down. Let's just say that if you feel a lot of resistance when inserting the dust cover, you are likely plugging it in wrong. When used as directed, the dust covers fit fine in the RJ45 ports. There is just enough friction to keep them in place but not enough to interfere with insertion and removal.While I think these type of dust covers are useful, this particular 20-pack is expensive. It's at least twice the price of similar products. I could get, for example, a 50-pack of a similar plug for the same price.

What I like about these dust covers is they protect my network from dust and other obstacles. Especially when you don't use the other adapters for a long time eventually it will collect dust.
