I was very excited to get this shot timer. A co worker has one and I was impressed with a lot of it's features. Especially how loud it is! Even at its price I still was willing to get one. It took a couple of weeks but came right before I was supposed to leave to teach a class. Very happy about that. I get it out and it's 3/4 charged which I thought was strange. Then I set it off and was not loud at all. Hmm, check and the volume is at 100%? So I try some more and same thing. Not loud at all. Then, upon further inspection, I see that it's used! And they didn't even try and hide it by resetting it or deleting the info! How stupid do they take me for! I wouldn't even mind if were a little cheaper and they were honest! So now, take it back!

What truly sets this timer apart is its Bluetooth integration and Drills app, allowing real-time video overlays, remote control, and performance analysis. It’s innovative, user-friendly, and makes post-training evaluations seamless. The U-Grip mounting system is secure yet easy to access, and the inclusion of USB-C and wireless charging with an impressive battery life that lasts so long. Its dry fire functionality is outstanding. For anyone serious about improving their shooting skills, the SG Timer 2 is a must-have. It combines functionality, durability, and smart features to take your training to the next level. I used to use the Smart GO before but this one is much more complete and easy to use with or without the Drills app.Highly recommended!

This timer is great. I downloaded the app and watched some tutorials. So far I’ve been able to track my proper par times, split times and record different sessions to show examples to my friends. You can create different profiles on the app to save everyone’s individual stats and videos.I can setup competitions with my friends and crate custom drills for all of us to practice. This thing is truly powerful. Everything is saved into a calendar so I can go back as far as i want and see how we have done. This is shooting in the 21st century for sure!So far, I’m in love with it. Worth every penny.

Dry fire capability and volume adjustment was a big reason I purchased the device. Works great tracking the trigger pull for the most part. You can set a delay to read to help with any issues. Setting the volume to “1” is nice to do indoor dry fire to try to not disturb others. Which I feel isn’t too load.My favorite part of the system so far is the “Drills” app, Match mode. It’s not just for formal matches but great for competition between friends. You simply put the number of targets, press start with phone (record the video), and then input the hits to get your hit factor. The app is free. Your friend would need to download the app and make a profile. Once they are added as a friend. It is pretty simple to compete with each other. Have video with splits overlay and calculate hit factor in no time. This feature has brought a lot more interest to my friends range time as it was starting to get repetitive. This creates a history for you to reference, analysis your body form/etc, and get more productive practice in! I would recommend considering the SG Go as I have primarily have used my phone to make adjustments. Very easy and syncs fast with timer. The Go is about half the price and to my knowledge has all the cool features I have mentioned above. For about $20 more dollars than a Pact 3 shot timer. You can reunite your shooting experience with friends, have more productive practice, dry fire with a timer, and have cool videos with overlays.Highly recommend considering the SG Go over the Pact 3 timer as it does way more, easily worth the money to me!

I have now, three shot timers and this is so far the best of the lot.But also the most expensive. But in this case, I have to say you get what you pay for. There are quite a few features that come with the SG Timer 2 that to cover all of them adequately would take a few pages. I can tell you that the basics (which is what I've done so far) of shot timing, this thing has not dropped a shot and the data is presented in the simplest and most logical way possible. Connecting to the drills app was instant and that app opens an entire world of capability that other timers simply cannot approach. As I continue to use this timer, I will report on more of the features as I use them, but basically, it's a five-star product. Only downside is that steep price.

The SG Shot timer is great investment in your training. The battery life is out of this world and it has some great featured. Coupled with the Drills app, I don't think this ting can be beat. Shot time overplayed to training videos helps identify inefficiencies you may not see otherwise. Spy mode can provide the shot time overlay to ac5ual match videos... another great tool. And for a light plastic device, it's pretty durable.

This is my first shot timer and I love this thing it’s very intuitive and easy to use . I love the shot presets. I love the dry fire training. The beep is very loud so you will definitely hear it at the range over other shooters. I love the app to it is very cool because you can control the app from your iPhone or I watch. And you can record yourself and your splits on screen that’s real dope

Nice timer with a lot of functionality. A more detailed instruction manual is really needed. Some of the features are not very user friendly and there are no instructions or online videos on how to use for example the spy mode. Out of 7 USPSA stages it only worked on 5 of them. I have 2 friends that has this timer also and they could not get the spy mode to work for them at all.Lots of potential but SG needs to spend some time creating either online instruction videos or a more in-depth instruction manual. While I would recommend mend this to somebody who has some experience with shot timers I would not reccomended this to a new shooter some for somebody’s first timer.
