This product is PLASTIC! That means it’s not nearly as pliable as the real thing! I would never purchase plastic caning again!

I used this roll the make a hat for a cosplay, and while the rattan is a nice quality with little to no unravelling issues, it was a bit difficult to work with. The rattan arrives in a vacuum sealed roll and it takes a lot of work to get the rattan to lay flat and stay flat. I ended up using a steam iron with a towel, but that is still a lengthy process. If you have the time and space available, It's worth it to roll out the rattan on a flat surface, weigh it down, and give it a few days to be more manageable to work with.
