Tie appears to me made with some quality, however when I tried to tie it I struggled and finally got a result that looked like a boy's tie on my larger frame. Measured against my other self tie bow ties it has about thee same size section used for sizing, but it is quite a bit shorter in the two ends that actually form the bow. Lesson learned.

It's a nice tie, but even at its longest setting won't fit the intended recipient, who generally wears a 17.5" collar. Will pass it along to someone with a more slender neck.
