No extract kit is perfect, and no one will guarantee you will be able to remove every broken bolt or nut you might need but this one is very close, it has almost all the tools you might need to intent to remove a broken/rounded bolt or nut, accessories include reverse drill bits, easy out, rounded nut removal bits, and cracking nuts tools, didn't try all of them but the few I used performed very well considering is a very affordable kit.

This bolt and screw extraction kit is really great and has come in handy. It is always great to have on hand in case you may need it. The tools are easy to use and they work. The tools are strong, durable and reliable.

I've been working on replacing some stairs in a 30+ year old deck staircase - well past its prime, I was hoping to be cheap and replace the wood pieces that are disintegrating first. With that, there were several very rusty screws that needed to come out, and while I can't say that I'm particularly well versed in the arts of screw extraction, this drill bit set had a hardness that exceeded the screws themselves. Also, the included drill bits are fantastic and showing little to no signs of wear after using them for several dozen guide holes over a weekend. A great set that I'm hoping to be able to fully leverage (correctly), but the materials themselves are confidence inspiring and would recommend.

This is a comprehensive kit for automotive, home DIY and similar cases where you have wayward screws, nuts or bolts that are broken or rusted or otherwise noncompliant. For rounded-off bolt heads or nuts there’s a good selection of bolt extractors in sizes from ¼” (which you might use with a #4 thread) to ¾” (½” SAE thread) including metric sizes. These are ⅜” drive but there are adapters for ¼” hex and ½” square drive, and they all have hexagonal bodies so you can also use a socket with them. For screws with the head sheared off, you can use the supplied HSS bits to drill a hole and then use the spiral extractor to remove the screw. Finally there’s a pair of nut splitters to destructively remove wayward nuts.Overall the kit components are of good quality, with one exception: the tap wrench (which you use with the spiral extractors) feels cheaply built but still functions well enough.

I have not had a reason to use this yet. You need these rarely but when you do you really need it. However the extractors look and feel decently made and it comes with the proper drill bits. The handle feels a little cheap/weak and you might need to use a wrench for the larger sizes. I am confident they will work when the time comes.

DO NOT BUY, product broke within 5 minutes of using it. It’s a waste of 40 dollars

This is a great tool to have when you have bolts and screws that got old and rusty, or are just striped. It actually works.
