Got these for our local youth baseball organization. These plugs allow you to close the base posts and quickly find them again the next week for use. Most of our fields have 3 distances of base posts installed depending on the age group. These foam plugs are the easiest and cheapest option for both marking the posts and keeping the dirt from filling the posts.

Grabbed because I figured for what they are, doesn't matter if they're cheap. Well I was wrong, it's bigger than the base anchors which made a struggle to get in. Then when trying to remove, string and hairs ripped out with very little effort. So far, I've used 3 and destroyed 3.

The grandkids are just now thinking about being Johnny Bench/Tony Perez/Bill Gates. With that in mind, I realize most of you have no idea who Johnny and Tony are, so I through in Bill Gates, even though he has no idea what a base looks like.Overall, the product will last a lifetime. The tiny shovel looks like it came out of a preschoolers sand box. First time I used it, the thing broke in two. I think its in this kit for convenience. I need duct tape now, lolSorry folks, this review is on me. I would be lying if I told you a set up all 5 padded bases. Be sure to check your policies before buying. Not recommended as a gift as it came in a throw all bag and looks like I bought it at Aldi.

We needed base plugs for our baseball field and these are more than adequate. They were easy to put in and with the included shovel, they were easy to get out and put in the bases. I also like that it is a set of 12 as, inevitably, they will wear out and this gives us two sets for both fields.

Look nice and our team colors. They don’t hold up as well as others I’ve had in the past, I’ve used 8 of them in the last 3 weeks. The cycles fall off when I pull the drag across them and break off at the base.

Simple, affordable sponge base plug. Practical nylon cord for pulling out plug saves the tassels.
