Pneumatic nails often have weak heads, but SharkGrip nail pullers pull from the shank. The tool's hardened "V" takes a positive bite into the nail's shank for easy removal. The puller's curved underside easily slides under an embedded nailhead or onto the nail's shank. The back of the puller doubles as a striking head for your hammer. SharkGrip Nail pullers removes even embedded, headless, or rusted nails. An advanced tempering method in the drop forged construction process of this nail puller gives it extra durability to prevent chipping or bending. 9 in. for Finish Nail (1-1/4 in. to 2-1/4 in.) and Staples.

This is sharp enough to grab hold of a nail shank even after the head has been knocked off.

Took me a while to find this one.. most are to bulky or the nail slot is the wrong size.. this one just plain performs. I have started buying them for my employees as well.

This product I know is quality but I thought it was bigger. The first 16p nail I tried to pull with it I broke the claw. If your liking for a catspaw that will pull framers go somewhere else.

It's not a high tech instrument, but I didn't feel the wedge which bites into the nail to roll that quickly. If you're looking for something special to pull nails you may want to look for something else.

Love this cats paw but wish I ordered the size up. I am a framer and most of the time I wish I had a little more leverage than the nine inch. I eventually break the teeth off on these but keep buying new ones because they grip the nails SO much better than any other cats paws I've ever used.

Small, but high quality. Perfect for pulling smaller nails and fasteners. Most of the carpenters I meet only have the larger version of this tool, which is great for pulling larger nails, but this smaller version is always needed for those smaller nails so my co-workers are always seeking me out when they need this. Has held up to almost constant use and abuse over the last 4 years.

This is the 9" bar. amazon dimensions say: Product Dimensions 12.1 x 9.3 x 4.5 inches. they must be measuring the packaging. go bigger if you want the framing nail puller. this is what I would call a medium puller for 6d nails, maybe 8d max. otherwise, high quality tool. we have 3 sizes in the shop toolbox for various nail sizes.
