This product came dark gray, not silver. It also did not have a cable to attach to the antenna or any adhesive tape.

Inspired by MoeMoe's similar review, I got this cover to replace the sharkfin cover for a 2014 Sonata Hybrid with gps. These have green circuit board antennas with a wavy circuit (see first photo).I covered it with chalk powder and placed the new fin over it to check for contact points (after I removed the square plastic they had inside). This showed me where to cut away pieces that stopped it from fitting (see second photo). After I did that, it fit perfect against the original rubber base. I applied some JB Weld epoxy for plastic and secured the new cover. Advice: tape.off around your base so stray epoxy doesn't get on your roof.

I have the antenna with the "green fin" sticking up at the back.Everywhere I read says this "WON'T FIT"Untrue.I unscrewed the underside plate...In the trash it went...I then ground off the (4) tiny "bosses" that held it in place and location...(I used a hacksaw blade, then a small file)The thing fit PERFECTLY!Wait, it gets better....The Grey color was an exact match to my 2015 Sonata Shale Grey Metallic.
