I don't know why, but several comments online suggest that the right-side spinner motor on Shark IQ robot vacuums often fails before the rest of the unit. With the help of online guidance on tearing-down these units, this part did the trick for me. My several years old vacuum is now humming along and I'm out tens of dollars rather than hundreds for a new unit. Good deal.

Front wheel DOES NOT FIT RV1001, even though it is listed as compatible. The wheel is too damn wide.I spent 30 minutes modifying a $1 wheel. I had to trim the sides of the rubber wheel, then remove the axle and finally sand the sides until the white plastic bushing was flush with the rubber.Very frustrating when seller description is misleading.
