I cant say I'd picked a light purple one intentionally. But it turns out it's very pleasing. I havent had it long but so far it is doing a mighty fine job. I need a vaccum that has good suction for the mirror fact I have large dogs that shed. For that reason I do have to empty the container more often then the other vacuums I've had. If you let the canister get to full it compacts so much it's harder to empty the hair out. I was quite surprised how much dirt or sand it picked up.I like that's it's not heavy and bulky to maneuver. I've had back surgery and hip replacement and vacuuming usual ends up causing pain. The brushes pull the unit forward which is extremely important for me. I would highly recommend this vaccum to anyone. Now if they could invent one my dog doesnt feel the need to attack.

I have to admit these are great vacuum cleaners for the price. The one on the right is the previous model we purchased when we brought in a new chocolate lab to the family that was 15 years ago. It’s been used quite well and cleaned often and unfortunately the head of the unit is intermittent even with my minor adjustments. We were due for another shark and the last navigator served us very well. We purchase the one on the left, the new navigator. Very impressed a little different, It picks up everything seen and unseen from the carpet. Ops check good. We purchased the refurbished model which was a discount but I would highly recommend this model get it while you can.

I have a dirty house. I have 3 dogs and a yard that I tend to. I have chickens, so I wear outdoor shoes and try to kick them off when I come in, though sometimes I don't if I am just heading for the garage. I ordered the Shark NV352 after reading some reviews online.First of all, it was easy to assemble. It is indeed light weight and should work well enough on my stairs with the handheld component. It may be able to be disassembled to be even lighter for stair work. I do not have hardwood floors, but I do have some linoleum and this machine will move easily from bare floor to carpet.Second, the suction at this point is great. I did purchase some extra filters because letting filters dry always throws me off my game. I want to get the job done, but like I said, I have a dirty house and sometimes there is just too much dirt to be able to work properly. The other side of excellent suction is the fact that this baby is not self propelled, so it requires a bit more arm strength to push it along the floor. My carpet is cleaner and I got an arm work out.The head is smaller, so it requires more passes. This is not a big deal to me, but it is worth noting. It pivots easily, so maneuverability is a plus. The head is also narrow in terms of height, so it slips under the edge of my armoire pretty well.I wanted to grab the cobwebs and that was a bit of a fail. I suppose I could lift the whole canister part and reach, but even with the extended arm, it did not have enough tubing to get to my 8' ceiling. If you had higher ceilings than that, you may want to reconsider how you clear cobwebs. The dust canister is small and requires two buckles to remove. Not necessarily a problem, but noteworthy, especially if you have a big house and appreciate dirt capacity.I have to steam clean my carpets with some frequency due to the dogs and I think this little powerhouse will be better for the preclean than my hoover which I overheat all of the time. This is most certainly a first blush review. I have not yet clogged it and had to disassemble it, so if that proves noteworthy, I will review again.

I am an inventor with many patents. Quite impressed with this design. The screen never gets clogged, they creating a centrifuge that throws even lint away from the screen in center (intake/suction) and it drops it to bottom. First vacuum have ever seen that does not clog. Simple and brilliant, no moving parts.I asked question about wand not being long enough, the reason was the curtain cleaner works well on wood floors but is angled such that I at 6'-1" have to bend over to get it flat. I then came up with what is in the pic, took old bagged Oreck attachments, 3 wraps of duct tape to shim it up to right diameter, then used angle grinder to notch it for "catcher" hook like the Shark uses and inserted it. Works like a charm as the Oreck swivels so vacuum head can be flat at any angle. BTW the Shark system on snapping various parts of wand, hose , etc together is very nice and solid.Best vac have ever used. Compared to Hoover Wind Tunnel no comparison, lighter, quieter, more suction and does not clog. And on the cord being low and tripping people as mentioned here a lot. Easy solution. As you see in photo have a simple loop in cord that matches the top cord wrap post. That makes it a cord to top in a jiffy. If you want to detach as you see in pick just turn the post down, slide off, when done push on and turn post up. It is that easy.

I am not one that writes reviews but this product I have to. I own a Dyson 7 Pro and it is nothing, NOTHING compared to this vacuum. I purchased a refurbished one and it’s like brand new. This is light, the cleaning of my carpet was totally amazing. Just in my room it was filled after 1 time running though. It shows how poorly the Dyson did. It’s super easy to use, super convenient to disconnect the canister and the arms to vacuum the walls or stairs or furniture. It is well worth the money and if you are deciding between the Dyson and the Shark... hands down the SHARK!!! I absolutely love it💗UPDATE!!!! So the vacuum is not working now and I'm not sure if a belt needs to be changed or what but it head won't spin any more so all if does is suck and won't let go of the carpet and I am unable to even move it. I am a very handy girl but this is very aggravating. I know I bought refurbished but the screws are so stripped I am unable to get the bottom off to get to the brush to see what is wrong and what I need to fix. I have tried everything and the screws won't move. The bottom is plastic so I can probably break it up but then I have nothing. So 10 months and I have to spend more money on a vacuum. Really sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!
