The Sharp Atomic Wall Clock has a built in receiver that automatically synchronizes itself with the WWVB radio broadcast by the US Government ‘s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Sharp Atomic Clock will always be accurate to within one second as it receives daily WWVB updates. The Wireless Sensor transmits the outdoor temperature to the Sharp Atomic Wall Clock.
The sensor can be placed anywhere within 100 feet of the receiving unit. NO wire installation needed! Automatically Sets for Daylight Savings Time: When you set up the clock, set the Daylight Savings Time setting to ON Atomic Accuracy: The Atomic clock has a built-in receiver that automatically synchronizes itself with the WWVB radio broadcast by the US Government’s National Institute (NIST) in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Atomic Clock will always be accurate to within one second as it receives daily WWVB updates.
Wireless Outdoor Sensor: The Wireless outdoor sensor (included) transmits the outdoor temperature to the Atomic Wall Clock. The sensor can be placed anywhere within 100ft of the receiving unit. The wireless technology means no wire installation is necessary. Easy Set up: If the atomic icon is flashing, the clock is looking for the Atomic signal. Wait until the atomic icon stops flashing before continuing with the clock set up. In most areas, a signal can be received at night. If the clock doesn’t receive the WWVB Atomic Signal immediately, wait overnight and it will be set in the morning.

very easy to set, install batteries 2 simple checks time zone and channel my clock was preset for use by default hang on wall and it will connect to world clock in time

Great product. But a pain to have it set. No matter how it is set, it confuses itself on daylight savings time changes. For some reason it has made those changes by being off even 2 hours after telling time correctly and even coordinating with its outdoor temperature. When it throws itself off it may take a week to self correct.

The display of the Clock failed come on. I used new batteries, check them for power and proper orientation of the batteries. But, still no display on clock. Amazon is replacing it with "rush" delivery. I had purchased another on just like it a year earlier and it still is working great.Replacement was received quickly and it is working perfectly (Like my first one.)

Está bien bonito, el único pero que podría tener es que ocupa 4 pilas alcalinas el reloj y 2 el sensor exterior de temperatura pero vale la pena

This clock was so easy to set up and it looks great. It took a couple of hours to sync with the national clock. The remote sensor pairs and works well with the clock but not with rechargeable lithium batteries but with alkaline batteries it is fine. I like it so much I'm thinking of ordering another for upstairs. The only drawback is that the instructions are printed so tiny that in order to read them I had to scan them then expand the resulting image. The instructions hold some useful secrets that are otherwise unavailable!

Great clock. I have another, larger clock in the kitchen with an outdoor temperature sensor. I put batteries in the new clock and it picked up the signal from the original sensor! I’m running both clocks from the same sensor so that gives me a spare in the event of failure. This was a great size for our bedroom.

Bought this clock to replace a Lacrosse Technologies clock that started receiving obviously incorrect temperatures from its outdoor sensor. I like the large numbers on the display and I've had it for a month or two now and it thankfully hasn't given me any reason to doubt its outdoor temperature readings.

I’ve always been a fan of digital watches (Casio, Seiko etc.), so it was a natural choice to buy a digital wall clock. Having the date, and indoor / outdoor temperature is a bonus.I followed the setup instructions to the letter, and annoyingly, the outdoor temperature displays for around 5 seconds, then disappears for around 10 seconds. This is why I’ve given the four stars.Other than that, very happy.

El reloj atómico hace lo que dice, es fácil de configurar y si te encuentras en una zona donde la señal de radio originaria en Boulder, Colorado USA, funciona correctamente y se mantiene a la hora exacta. Como vivo en México donde no tenemos ajuste de horario de verano, fue el único cambio que realice para evitar los cambios en las temporadas de cambio en USA.Buen producto y con números grandes que se ven desde la distancia (al menos la hora)

1. Every week or two it just loses its mind and begins displaying bogus dates and times- as much as several years off. Apparently, its firmware lacks a continuity function to prevent this absurdity every time it fails to get a time signal from WWV. The first time, I reset everything manually, but after that I just turned it face down on the table and checked it every couple of days. Sure enough, it "found itself" within a day or two and all was well until the next brain explosion. This is a major design flaw.2. The display is low contrast and with the clock tipped back as it is on its stand, the time is completely illegible from a seated position 8 feet away from the clock. I had to stand up to see the time. The other info (date, temps, etc.) is illegible from any angle without walking up to the clock and reading it from 2 feet away due to the extremely low contrast and brightness. The extremely narrow vertical view angle pretty much puts the nail in the coffin for me. The clock is now face down in another room while I try to decide who I can trust to sell me a usable "atomic" clock. It sure won't be this seller.
