I bought a sheep for a family in Africa through Heifer Intl. and gave in honor of a relative. So instead of just giving her a card that said "a gift was given in your honor". I also gave this sheep because the family will use the sheep's wool to make clothes etc. Kind of a gag but also fun. I imagine they let their 5 year old will play with and "shear" the sheep.

I dare anyone to not break into a smile when they see this adorable little sheep.You just want to pick it up and cuddle it.Then when you realize you can actually “shear” its wool simply by unzipping its fleece jacket, you will fall in love.Then you’ll be zipping and unzipping it over nd over.It’s great fun and everyone you’ll show it to will e charmed.Nicely made too and it sells for a reasonable price.It’s easy to love this wonderfully cute little sheep.Enjoy !

Cute and cuddly, our little lamb is a fun, smaller size (perfect friend/office/fiber friend gift), and is a wonderful teaching tool for children (and adults!) for where wool comes from. This lucky little lamb gets a fast, smooth shear with nary a nick! Yes, the zipper pull is styled to look like shearing clippers.This lamb is stuffed firmly to make getting the fleece garment on and off easily. Haven’t had it for long, but it appears to be well made and nicely designed and finished. Definitely worth the money for what we paid for it!

In addition to being absolutely adorable, this toy is a fantastic visual aid for sheep/fleece-to-shawl and other handspinning demonstrations. The sheep is designed to sit on its rump (the position in which a shearer initially holds the sheep), and the zipper is correctly positioned so you can explain how the fleece is removed in one piece. The toy is small and lightweight, so it is easy to add to a spinner's basket or stuff in a wheel bag. This would be a great gift not just for children, but for adult knitters, spinners, and other fiber artists.

I got two of these little sheep to be gifts and they’re adorable!! They’re made to sit on their backsides and be cute—I wouldn’t recommend these for babies or little kids, only teens and adults. The sheep is about the size to fit in an adult’s palms, pretty small for a stuffed animal. The unfinished edges on the wooly coat are a little disappointing, but it’s a detail I can look past since the price seems fair for what it is. They’re fluffy and soft but not squishy and have some beans in the bottom to weigh them for sitting correctly. The clipper-shaped zipper pull is so silly and fun as well. Overall, it’s a cute little sheep to keep as a tchotchke!
