In terms of durability they last longer than any other I've used. Boss supplies the blades. Works for me!

Revised review. The Shaviv deburring tool is good quality and value. My previous review below was meant for another deburring tool also purchased and should be ignored for the Shaviv tool.Good value and overall quality, but the end cap for storage of extra bits has course threads and would not tighten securely. The cap would get snug and then keep turning, as though the threads are stripped. Rather than return for another I wrapped a half turn of black electrical tap around the threads of the cap and the cap now firmly tightens up.

I’ve been using the Shaviv deburring tool for more than 30 yrs and have needed lots of replacements as they seem to grow legs as soon as someone who has never used one tries it.

Tips broke fist time using them, easily changed but I shouldn’t have to buy replacements right out of the box

I first bought one of these when I worked in a machine shop decades ago. I still own and use the original one, but i realized I really should have several so there's always one in the closest toolbox. Amazon obliged by making it easy. I use this for the obvious deburring of holes/cutouts but it's also useful for deburring copper plumbing pipe, shaving off burrs from plastic, tons of uses.

I bought this one for my son. I have had one for years. The right tool for the job to trim and smooth cut plastic and plexiglass. I have also used on metal, just be sure to buy a supply of extra blades if using on metal.

This tool was exactly what my husband was looking for. The hardware stores wanted alot of money for this tool so the price on here is hard to beat! Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for this tool.
