I think this wheel would work out fine for a lot of people. It cut a little too slow for me when compared to standard abrasive discs.

Best damn thing I ever bought in my life. I couldn’t believe how it just went on and on and on. I still use the same blade today, and it doesn’t even show any signs of wear, and I have put it through hell and back. I have Bent and straightened it, I have cut many, multiple 6 foot long thick fenced tubes right down the middle, It stands straight up, bitches you ou in front of your friends, spits out steel teeth, and laughs at you. It just keeps going and going like an invincible inter dimensional monster from the future of hell. Yeah, it’s 30 bucks and cost a lot, but Jesus, it lasts, and lasts and lasts, maybe even forever. After a nuclear holocaust there will be roaches, and this thing. This is just simply the best thing I ever spent money on, and I would buy one again, but I probably never will have to. I actually try to over work it, and it thumps me on the head, and says, really? I definitely recommend this. If you stranded me on a desert island with only one cut off wheel, it would be this one. I could build a a ship out of stone with it. That’s for real.

I have to say this has been a great product. I’ve gone through several of these diamond wheels for my high speed grinder previously and found that they just didn’t last. They were major brands like Dewalt. The major brands make a slightly thinner kerf which is nice for cutting but I found that they just didn’t last. This product on the other hand which has a slightly wider Kurd has lasted the test of time. As an engineer and contractor I am guessing that the wider kerf and heavier disc dissipate the heat of cutting better and allow the diamond grit to stay on the wheel better. I give this diamond wheel top ratings

I bought this blade after having used another like it. I had the intentions of using it for surface grinding for welding prep work. It does an amazingly fast job on certain types of steel that have a factory primer or mill scale (e.g. 50w, strenx, and hardox) that needs to be removed for CWB welding specifications. I've had this blade for about a month now and have been using it nearly every day for grinding and it is still going well. Today I had to take it to the sander to eliminate the sharp front edge on it so that it was back to the diamond abrasives. I have found with this blade if you are looking to cut, chop, sever, anything you will probably be disappointed as it will take more time to get through and you'll have to push harder than a regular abrasive wheel. If you are needing an abrasive cut off wheel that gets the job done fast then by far I recommend the 3M Cubitron 5" discs. This disc is a winner for me in the sector of the work I do with it. It doesn't wear down small and the grinding marks that it leaves do not show up through the paint, whereas any other abrasive grinding discs that I have used are fairly aggressive in their afterward appearance. I will be buying more of these when this one wears out.
