All ribs are very very soft! Difference in color does not denote difference in rigidity.

I do pottery classes at a local center and these were absolutely perfect. Great value, durable and perfect sizes. Love that they're actually a good material and not stiff. Buy these! You won't regret it!

Son pequeñas como dice la descripción, el material es blando, parecen muy útiles pero habrá que probarlas

These were purchased for ceramic classes at our local Maker Space. They're soft, and work wonderfully! Great purchase!!

My pottery studio uses these every single day because they’re flexible enough and affordable enough and they work on clay, slabs or throwing on the wheel.

I purchased these based on the negative reviews that said they were too soft! lol! I wanted enough for teaching a hand building mug class but wanted soft ribs like my small mud tools red rib without spending a fortune. These were perfect! We use them to volume out the mugs and the softness keeps inexperienced learners from going through the side walls as they attempt to stretch the belly of the mug. We also used the rounded corners to smooth seams and again the softness kept them from pushing too hard and accidentally altering the mug shape. So glad I found these!

I make pottery and was excited to find this set of ribs. I've got tons of pottery ribs, easily 100+. I liked that this set came with all of these shapes, but after I received the set of ribs, I felt like they were pretty worthless. First of all, they are all very soft ribs, and I mean softer than a mudtools red rib, which is the softest mudtools rib. Ribs that soft just aren't very useful in making pottery, and I can't think of a good use for them outside of pottery. Second, all of the ribs are the exact same softness, they're just different colors and shapes. When a rib is this soft the curves and shapes just don't matter much, because you can just curve the rib how you want it. So really, maybe 2 of these ribs are useful, which means 19 of them are just unnecessary and will sit around being unused. Third, there's THREE of each rib. So there's 7 ribs, and 3 of each of them. There's no reason to have multiples of the same rib. The plastic will last a long time, it's not like it's going to wear out and be destroyed and thrown away. When I ordered the set of ribs was $19.99. I would not recommend ordering this set of ribs at all, so to me, the price is irrelevant. If all 21 of the ribs was going to be useful, that would be a different story.

These are great. I know some folks like the more expensive rubber ribs, and I'm sure they're great, but for a hobbyist these are ideal and way way more bang for the buck.

No they aren’t like mud tools but also didn’t cost as much. They work well and are cheap so good for a class setting. They aren’t as firm a little soft and partly not very big. It’s a you get what you pay for and it’s a quality item for the price
