I purchased this to "step up" from my existing compass and thought it would be nice integrated with a pressure gauge and depth gauge. The depth gauge more as a backup to my dive computer (DC).Unfortunately the compass is the same exact compass I was trying to improve on (its performance has been poor, hard to trust in the water) so the Sherwood console was not an improvement in that respect. The pressure gauge appears made in the same Chinese factory as my inexpensive Tusa except with less clear markings. How accurate it is in use I can't tell (I'm returning this unit without having used it). The included thermometer is at least 5 degrees F too high, so it's worthless (I allowed it to come to ambient room temperature over night. The depth gauge appears functional and pretty easy to read, at least at shallow depths. Again, actual use I can't say how well it performs. It appears removable and a standard puck DC might fit there, but I didn't attempt removal so can't advise. The console housing appears to have a "PC" port on the side of the area where the depth gauge is housed, so it appears this is Sherwood's intent (at least for their DC).Not recommended based on the quality of the compass. The thermometer is useless.
