C'est un très bon tendeur de chaine, je l'utilise sur un vélo une vitesse avec une chaîne 1/8 et il fait parfaitement l'affaire. J'avais vue des avis qui disait que les chaînes 1/8 ne fonctionne pas avec ce tendeur de chaine mais c'est totalement faux!

My LBS insisted that a normal chain tensioner (Sora) would work with my Alfine 11 DI2 hub. They were WRONG. The chain would get slack then rip on the hub when I went to pedal. Like stepping up some stairs blind and thinking there is a step there only to have it missing. This broke one hub and then the second one's 5th gear. In addition, back pedaling the chain would drag on the ground like a sad dog.This fixed all the problems. My fifth gear still slips, hoping an oil change will clean it up a little.If you are going to use an Alfine hub GET THE TENSIONER!

Perfect, used it to chain tension my single speed (an old converted raleigh routier) as I fitted a front mech to turn it into a 2 speed. Really sturdy and perfect fit. Make sure you use the right chain size however as I needed to get a new freewheel to match the thread on this (1/8 not 1/3)

Great piece of kit to simplify my full suspension SS setup, there are adjustment shims included with the tensioner for fine tuning the chainline but it helps to have a SS sprocket conversion kit with chainline adjustability to get you in the ballpark first.
