Had a leaking BR M315 rear caliper on my Bmc Seedfox. No rebuild kit is available for any Shimano under slx grade so need a whole piece. The M315 is no longer available so I figured I would try the MT 200.Mountined easy and needed a fair amount of bleeding. Used finish line green mineral oil, which holds up better over time than the Shimano oil. Bleed kit uses two siringes, which is kinda a pain. The hose is a tight fit on the bleed port and can shoot off under pressure, need to make sure you block the pistons so they don't get dislodged. The funnnel bleed kit looks much easier to set up, especially for a beginner.These calipers are just as strong as the M315’s . Good modulation and plenty of stopping Power with180mm rotors on a 34lb bike. 160 rotors may not have enough stopping power, my opinion. I would buy again if I need a front caliper.
