Raleigh Shimano chain 6700 ultegra is a super narrow lightweight 10-speed directional chain for optimum cassette and chain set interaction and maximum power transfer. Features chain uses a directional design with specifically shaped inner and outer plates to optimise shifting over the chain set and cassette. Outer plate design has been developed to reduce the chance of chain suck. The inner plate has been developed for better contact with gears providing smoother shifting under high load, giving efficient pedaling, increased rigidity and near silent running. Optimised for 10-speed super narrow HG drivetrains.

Really easy fit chain and no adjustment needed. Really looking forward to going for my first ride. The chain has traditional fit and no quick fit.

My old chain was stretched out so My bike guy told Me to buy this one. It worked like it was supposed to and my bike now rides so much smoother. Just make sure you order the right chain size to fit your bike’s cog. I didn’t realize there were so many to choose from

My outgoing chain was a KMZ. Unsure of its provenance as the bike had two owners before me. Its amazing what you put up with. I spent far too long fiddling with the indexing before I realised the problem lay with the chain. Now fitted and shifts like a dream. Also the bike did not require any adjustment to the indexing. Fabulous, now going for a ride in the rain to celebrate.

The packaging of this chain indicates it is a Shimano product manufactured in Japan, if this is correct than either the Shimano quality has significantly declined or something is not factual. After one month of use the chain became stiff, covered in rust deposits and showed significant corrosion. Considering that I clean and lubricate the chain once a week and wipe down the bike after each ride, I’m extremely disappointed in the performance of this product. I’ve removed and discarded the chain after one month of service. The chain came from a supplier located in Ireland , I will not do business with this supplier again.
