I wanted to try shorter cranks but it was an expensive experiment. Then I found these cranks on Amazon. I pulled the trigger and couldn’t be happier!Fit great and changed my cycling experience for the better. Bought a second pair for my gravel bike.Note: Make sure you buy a compatible bottom bracket. 😎

A replacement for a square taper crank, in a Campagnolo 9-speed system and a 10-speed chain, everything works smoothly.

I have a 2015 Giant Defy 5. I put so many miles that it was time to refresh the drivetrain. It came with FSA cranks and chainrings and claris components. It had a heavy tapered sealed bottom bracket. I paired the claris cranks with the shimano 68mm BBR60 bottom bracket and I had a good mechanic install and then adjust everything. The only sound I hear now is the tires on the road, it works perfectly and much better than the fsa stuff. I feel increased ability to accelerate. It’s just a huge improvement over the heavier stock part. I don’t know why people hate claris it’s working beautifully and doesn’t cost a fortune. 5 stars all the way.

I upgraded a cheap bike from Academy. Ozone Eastwind Gravel 14-speedThe original crank was a cheap flimsy piece of junk 2x7 I upgraded it to this Claris 2x8 and the bike is a another class now. Much faster, stiffer, and feels so much better. No more chain popping, and shifting issues.I paired this with BB-RS500 bottom bracket, and HG71 chain. Works pefect, shifts great everytime.Other components are tourney 7-speedAlso my bike weighed 2.4 lbs lighter after the upgrade. Not surprising as all that steel in the old bottom bracket.

I got these for my first bike build. It is solid and shifts very smoothly! Looks like the higher tier models but the weight says otherwise. Since I went all carbon, this crank is the heaviest piece on my bike now so I will be upgrading to a 105 crank and keeping this one for an aluminum bike build.
